Fedor is extremely strong! No way any other athlete can beat him now! He is the top of sport. Strength, speed, stamina, "balls". He is very fast for a guy that weights more than 105 kg!
-
You gotta love that "ice cold" "half dead" demeanor that turns into an inferno when that bell rings. He goes balls to the walls fight after fight after fight no matter what or who is in front of him. He brings it, no doubt!
Great fighter! He's just freaking brutal man. Relentless. ;) Gotta love his work, and right now he is on top of his game big tyme.
-
can you imagine how he would be if he had a chip on his shoulder like Baroni? Hes a real nice guy, very approachable from what i hear and is always willing to aknowledge the fans. Shame more guys couldnt be as humble

that shit would probably fuk a guy like fedor up. he is extremely disciplined and in control of all his emotions. doesn't get distracted by stupid shit like anger.
he is a machine.

So True! Very "cold" killer. Like an assassin, he just does his work and leaves. No emotion at all. Like the "original" terminator.
-
When I'am talking that americans act like holywood and in the end lose i mean fedor is simple as he is. He don't call himself the machine, the the the the the the the the a a a a a an( strange English we dont have in russian the the the the the a a a an an an and weird stuff like that ) an an an a the terminator and stuff he simply does his work and that's it. Americans is so ( only ) media and yell and no deeds...

I think I understand what you are trying to say.
Are you saying that Americans like to have hollywood nicknames like "terminator" "Killer" or something like that and Russians don't have that dialect in the language so that is the reason they don't have an alias or nickname?
or the media begs Americans to carry nicknames?

Probably both. I should think of an MMA nickname for myself for when I hit the big time. None of this letting the media give you something retarded crap.

Yeah don't let them do it. They will most definitly come up with something gay Like "Roadhouse" or "The liquid Snake" or some sh*t like that.

hahahahaha, exactly. Can you imagine having to be called "Twinkle Toes" for the rest of your fighting career?

Aww man...I remember when I first heard that nickname, oh lord. LOL! What is the story behind that sh*t anyways. Fking twinkle toes......LMAO. He might as well changed it to "Peter Pan" or some sh*t.
Fking "flying nun" or some sh*t ;D

hahahahahahahahha exactly. The only thing I can think of regarding the nickname is that he's supposedly incredibly light on his feet but I'd probably stand flat footed for a couple of fights to lose it.
-
Great footwork, good head movement, heavy hands, straight punches plus good angles on hooks and uppercuts. FANTASTIC balance, strong, tough chin, decent subs, and moves well off his back. All this adds up to heavyweight champ, and best fighter on the planet.

i liked his technique and the way he put his punches together there but, shit, coleman is just a punching bag standing up. he has no movement whatsoever and is slow as fuck. when he gets caught he always seems to just drop his hands and quit. >:(

He was committed to the shot, and wouldn't finish the single. He wanted the double, had he taken the single and gotten Fedor to the ground, he could have at least been submitted earlier, and saved his face all that damage.

I've always felt that had Coleman studied guardpassing with a top bjj player, he would've been a much greater force in mma.

He won the first PRIDE GP, the guy is legend. It probably would've helped in his later career, though.

This is the sad thing about ALL of the Hammer House fighters. Both Coleman and Randleman have the tools. Both of them haven't added anything to their arsenal. Tito Ortiz could pass the guard, he doesn't because he is a big LHW, and is able to make space to drop elbows. Particularly with an opponents head against the cage. Coleman/Randleman if they could get to half guard would be devastating with their GNP. If they got to side control, knees to the head. Coleman and Randleman's striking is still subpar, and their sub defense is pathetic. (Even my 3 year old knows to turn into a leg lock, not away.) Too bad, because both guys are absolute studs. Coleman could have stayed at the top of the heap if he would have gotten better.

Russians rip off everyone
think again...

Fedor should have broken his neck on the Randleman throw. Too bad for Kev, he is a cyborg.

Fedor said he's been thrown worse in Sambo practice.

was fedor ever in danger during this rematch?
I saw the first fight and saw Coleman take down fedor, take his back, get his hooks in, and look like he was going to rear naked choke fedor (in less than a minute of the opening bell)
Of course, Mark messed up a simple choke hold and eventually lost.
-
He was never in any danger and Coleman is more than lucky that it wasn't in Japan.

Didn't Fedor admit he "carried" Mark past the first round. Coleman's eyes were jacked up.

Yep, he said he prolonged Marks beating just to see what he had in him.
-
When did this fight take place? Coleman got his butt handed to him there.
Whenever I see Coleman I think of his fight against Maurice Smith where he got KTFO with a kick to the head. :P I thought he would have retired by now.

Took place 3 weeks ago at PRIDE USA.

Geez, he's as bad as Ken Shamrock. Retire already! >:(
-
The funny thing was, after the fight when they were talking in the ring, Coleman said he'd be back to try again.. LOLOL
Maybe in the rematch he'll do a better job of cowering at Fedor's ankles.

Coleman wasn't KOed by Mo. Pete Williams KOed him. Mo won by decision.

My bad. I saw both of those fights and I know he got whupped by Mo and Pete. I tend to get them mixed up in my memory.

I meant I get the FIGHTS mixed up, not the fighters bro.

imo fedor has no change of demeanor when the bell rings, and thats what makes him so great ... just like sakuraba he has a detached approach to fighting that allows him to remain perfectly relaxed which opens up his striking game, keeps him from gassing, and lets him masterfully assess any situation (so far) hes been faced with to come out on top
how else would he beat the best ground guy on the ground and the best striker on his feet...
