Always keep mints with you. I should own stock because I keep them everywhere (office/home/car/ect) because nothing bothers me more then when I am talking to someone and they smell like the grave. Plus brush your teeth after meals.

Brushing, flossing, and mouthwash are all good, as if brushing the tongue, sides, and roof of the mouth. Scraping the tongue is good, as are the use of breath mints. Tic tacs are great because you can keep one secreted away in the side of our cheek, and it is so small, you can carry on a conversation with it present (credit for the tic tac tip goes out to Peggy Lipton). Something else you can also use, is parsley. Most people see it as merely a garnish, however, it is a fabulous internal deodorizer as well, and can combat issues that don't necessarily develop in the mouth. ie: Digestive issues can cause horrendous halitosis. Gastrointestinal acids produce horrendous smells, ...so if you're feeling hunger pains, ...chances are your breath stinks. Parsley can also neutralize odors derived from spicy foods ie: garlic, curry etc. Lastly, stay away from meat. You'll smell like a wet dog, a dirty cow, or a rotting carcass... odors highly noticeable by vegetarians.  :-\

This may sound dumb...but has anyone else ever noticed that when you are on ephedrine your breath stinks? Every time I am on that I have a bad taste in my mouth and feel like my breath surely must stink.

Just a dumb guess, but it could have to do with the dehydrating effect. Less saliva in the mouth to wash away those nasty odour causing bacteria that hide in the nooks & crannies of the tongue. ???  :-\

If you ever saw your tongue up close, ...it might make you vomit, knowing that such a thing is in your mouth all day!
