Saddam Hussein Receives Death Sentence
By HAMZA HENDAWI, AP

BAGHDAD, Iraq (Nov. 5) - Saddam Hussein was convicted and sentenced Sunday to hang for crimes against humanity in the 1980s killings of 148 people in a single town, as the ousted leader, trembling and defiant, shouted "God is great!"

it says that his attorneys will appeal and if it's denied he will hang within 30 days.

not bad.  what's with the hanging though?  They don't do that here in the US as far as I know.

oh I thought the US was wacking him.  I'm out of the loop, haven't been following that shit.   He should be stoned to death, that would be more fun.

they do that over there too, with men they bury you in the ground up to the waist and commence with the stoning, Islamic law says that if the person has confessed to the crime and somehow survives the stoning he is free to go.
