I'm pretty certain that pic was early 70's. Remember he won the AAU America in 1969.

hahaha... im from the old skool and yea even up till 90's! people were still cutting off sweatpants to make shorts!
does it really look funny? hahahah even till this day, it's all good 2 me! we used 2 take old worn off sweat pants to make those!
and some of us actually had every color!!! lol thanks for a good laugh man!

He's holding his stomach in, and the lighting doesn't help either. Plus, it's late 60's and he doesn't look in comp shape.
He looked very big in the early 90's FLEX Mag workouts.

Cut off sweatpants were great shorts (as long as they were sufficient length).
Yes, Boyer looked even better in the Flex show's in the early 90s! Great physique, except never had good abs.
