They run for president, unless they are foreign born citizens.  Sucks for him.

what is foreign born? George Washington wasn't born in the United States, or even to american parents.

Also look up Mitt Romney's dad

 . . . and Hiram Revels.

He'll probably become president after Hillary does - he'll somehow get the constitution changed so a foreigner can become the top dog.

nope . . . people have short memories when the economy does well.

if memory serves, arnold met with ken lay in may 2001 where he agreed that if they recalled the gunva and arnold got it, instead of making enron pay back the money they stole they would only pay back 2cents on the dollar

so the irony here is davis was fighting like a f**cker to get that money back, got recalled by arnold whose campaign crucified him for the neergy crisis, and by winning arnold guarnteed california wouldnt get that money back

arnold is a nazi homo piece of shit, but goddamned what an actor ;D

I thought George Washington WAS born in the US? I know his ancestors were English but I'm pretty sure he was born in Virginia? ???

Correct - born in Virginia, February 22nd, 1732.

He will run for Senate!  From bodybuilding, to Hollywood, to state politics . . . this man is a winner!

Doom approves.

Senate's a lateral move if not downwards, not worth it. After a few more years if the law remains unchanged re: foreign-born nationals, he'll try to be a player at the Republican convention towards a cabinet position or VP if that's allowed.

the logic might have been that getting 2 cents on the dollar was better than nothing . . . and Gray Davis could be blamed for letting deregulation wind up w Enron controlling California's power.  But you're right, the man can front like nobody.

I thought George Washington WAS born in the US? I know his ancestors were English but I'm pretty sure he was born in Virginia? ???

George Washington and his parents were born British subjects, although they were born within what would become known as the US . . . as were Adams, Jefferson, Madison. I'm almost certain Monroe was too.

Hiram Revels made it to the senate despite not having met the citizenship requirements (he was a black man from the South--wouldn't have been considered a citizen until after the civil war).

George(?) Romney ran for president even though he was not born in the US. nobody made a fuss.

If Arnold wants to find a way, he can find it.

actually the logic was giving enron a "slap on the wrist"

ken lay was the chair of the FERC

i don't know the details, but i doubt arnold could have gotten more under our current legal system.

the system goes easy on most white collar criminals . . . although they keep acting like they're going to tighten things up.

And Davis was the one in charge while Enron bent California over . . .

in 2004 it seemed like the far right was the place to be . . . Dubya and the hardline Republicans were getting everything to go their way.  Arnold tried to follow the hard rightwingers and it didn't work.

now it looks like the middle of the road is the place to be . . . and that's where Arnold belongs. I think he'll be fine, unless the economy tanks.
