Veteran mixed martial artist Kevin Randleman (Pictures) supplied an illegitimate urine sample following his Oct. 21 loss to Mauricio Rua (Pictures), Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer told the Fight Network Tuesday.
"It was either allegedly non-human urine or urine from a dead human being," Kizer said.
Randleman joins Vitor Belfort (Pictures) and Pawel Nastula (Pictures) as fighters on PRIDE's U.S. debut that have been cited by the NSAC for complications stemming from post-fight urinalysis results.
Like Belfort and Nastula, each of whom lost bouts despite testing positive for performance enhancing drugs, Randleman has 20 days to respond to the NSAC after receiving the regulatory body's written complaint.
The former UFC heavyweight champion could have his license to fight suspended by the five-member commission, and faces the possibility fines up to $250,000.
