Title: Max-OT on cycle?
Post by: TDK on November 09, 2006, 10:39:06 AM
After using DC for a couple of years as the base of my training I am going to switch over to Max-OT for the first time.  I trained for a couple of years when I first started training very similar to this style - 2 sets per exercise, 6 reps etc.

I was wondering if you think Id be better off following Max-OT to the letter training 5 days a week and splitting my bodyparts up as:

Mon) Legs
Tue) Chest/Calves/Abs
Wed) Arms
Thu) Shoulders/Abs
Fri) Back

Or chaging it up and splitting my body into 3 workouts but still training 5 days a week so Im training each bodypart more often such as:

Mon) Chest/Back
Tue) Legs
Wed) Shoulders/Arms
Thu) Chest/Back
Fri) Legs

Then next Monday training Shoulders and Arms etc.

Any ideas guys?  Shoulder I simply take out the guess work and train as it is written even though my recovery and growth ability will be enhanced from the gear?

Why donīt you try this:

day 1. legs and abs
day 2. chest and back
day 3. tris, bis, delts
day 4. OFF
repeat

Three exercises per muscle group 2-3 sets per exercise 5-8 reps...
Good luck...
