Yeah don't think he was a good pick. Maybe that guy from Nip Tuck would have done better...but I guess all you would see is the tuck character.......

I couldn't care less about the new Bonds.  They have virtually no plot anymore, they're usually one big car chase scene (or helicopter chase, boat chase etc.)

I hear this one has the record for the number of rolls a car does in one go, the car rolls 7 times!

daniel craig is a good actor i think hes only 38 so not too old - pierce brosnan was in his 40's when he started doing bond i think. He has done some good movies aswell such as Layer Cake

I say give the guy a chance. I wasn't too impressed when I first heard that James Bond was going to be blond but I've seen the trailer and the film looks awesome. He does look like he could pass as 007 so wathc the film first before making anysweeping statements.

The first Bond movie ever was Casino Royale and was aired on Network T.V. way back in the late 50's I think, I am guessing it's a slight remake of that film. BTW Pierce Bronson and Roger Moore are my favorite Bonds.

Roger Moore was the ultimate Bond pimp though, I don't think there is any debate to that. ;D

I didn't know that! I knew casino royale had something to do with james bond though. I agree I liked all of Roger Moore's films (for your eyes only is my fav) and Peirce Brosnan was my fav and his best was Goldeneye.

Critics are saying he is the best bond since connery, LEGIT from lots of pre release reviews.Daniel Craig looks like shit in pictures, sort of like Russell Crowe does, he isnt very photogenic. He comes across very well on film though similar to Crowe more of a craggy manly type as was Connery.

to me Pierce symbolizes the aura and confidence of james bonds best. but that is bias because i grew up watching him as bond, and didnt even know that there were james bond movies before him untill after i had seen him do two bond movies.  i was in the thinking that brosnan is to Bond, as cruise is to mission impossible.

Boy, you may know your supplements, but you got lousy taste in Bond actors. Moore wasn't threatening and was more like to to offer the bad guy some bad quip/joke, whereas with Connery one noticed he exuded real menace and was more likely to kick the shit out of the bad guy than talk to him.  :)

You need to check out some of the classic older Bond movies, bro. Pierce was good fit, but you can't compare him to Roger Moore's Bond, and you certainly can't compare his performances to Sean Connery. Connery was the best, in my opinion.

Connery was by far the best. Moore was a pussy and was a pale imitator after Connery. Brosnan was good, in my opinion the best outside of Connery but no one fills Connery's shoes.

Moore wasn't as rugged as Connery but he was so much smoother, he made it look tooo eazzy!!! But for real Moore pimp the hoes like no other and took on foes like Scaramanga The Man With The Golden Gun (my favorite bond ever) ;D

Connery and Moore, hands down, without question, case closed (cont. with overused phrases). Golden Eye the video game was the best Bond related thing that come of the Brosnan era. I won't knock hm too much before I see the movie, but this new guy has failed to impress me so far.

I think the new Bond is going to be great. The guy playing bond looks like a real men's man. Plus has the rugged quality to his appearance.

Noooooooo!!!! Moore was just suave man, he was the 70's Bond... he had mad game.. I think Connery was too one-dimensional he was way too gung ho, didn't have the class and suave that Moore brought to the series. IMO.
I look at it this way, Bond's actors fit their decades/periods, Connery in the 80's or 90's would just have been totally out of place.

Jason Latham....from Transporter and his newest is Crank.  Good idea but his characters all have shaved heads (well buzzed) and full beard or "the rustic" looking facial hair.  All bonds have full head of hair and clean shaven...might be tough to pull off with Latham.

Agreed, Connery & Moore were great in their own way. Sean was tuff and Roger was smooth. As for Chris Reeve, he was the best Superman of them all...rest in peace big guy.

The one where Scaramanga talks about his dying elephant? The one where they brought back the Southern sheriff? My friend, not only isn't it not the best Bond film, it isn't even the best Moore Bond film, and he's not the best Bond. I suggest you look over the canon again; this pic doesn't even rate.  :'(

It was a remake of Thunderball for the most parts. For some reason, a guy called Kevin McClory (sp?) owned(s) the rights, or half the rights or something, to that one story -the rest are owned by the Broccolis- and made a remake of it. Apparently, a lot of ill will between the two groups.

goldeneye on n64 was the best video game of its time.  4 player split screen, one shot one kill, no one allowed to be oddjob, matches usually ended up in screaming and swearing, resetting console, etc.  came out in 97, spent most of my winter break playing that game

Aston Martin

I only watch the Bond Movies for the cars now. The Aston Martin they have in the Movie has now been created as a special model of the DB9, I believe it is called the DBR9 It should have been the new AM V8. It fits Bond more, and about the size of the original Aston that starred in the first Bond movie
