Possibly...I used to doubt that the Beast could squat 315 pounds for reps but after meeting her in person and seeing those huge legs, it turned my doubt to belief....
Anything is possible....

the Beast is cute but she couldn't squat 185 all the way down and there's no way "hugepecs" benches even 350 let alone over 500.
-
Yes I believe... The last competition, of bench press that I competed, the guy who won my category (100 kg) with a body weight of 99 kgs, benched 262,5 kgs... so...

bullshit.

I believe he could bench over 500 ............... if he lowered the weight halfway while five of his "bros" held onto the bar.

I find it hard to believe...he also claims to do it as a "natural".

How tall was the winner? Any idea? If he is more than 5'10" I would have a hard time believing this.

bullshit.
It is absolutely true! A professional powerlifter! Not an ALL DRUGS bber... The look a bit with Lee priest, he was
1,70 cm and his bodyfat was very low...

He also claimed that him and Triple H went out to Chilis and discussed his role in DX.

I can almost guarantee that he was using a bench shirt. That's a 577 lb bench press at 220 lb. Mike MacDonald is widely considered the greatest bench presser in history, and he managed 580 lb at that bodyweight.

if he's natural and wieghs 195 there's no way he could bench 500, sorry I just don't buy it. I think alot of naturals have the potential to be alot stronger than people think but this one is pushing it. I've seen guys jiuced to the gills that couldn't move 500 and these guys were strong as fuck so.......

Thanks for that man, I love reading things like that. Very inspirational and nice to see the old days where shirts and wraps were not used.

I wanna slap the look off that guys face in your avatar.

If he is a power lifter,he can.
Sarcasm, why dont you visit IPF home page? You will surprised at those world record.

Thats JIM from The Office, he is cool.

A natural that can bench 500lbs is incredibly rare, especially if he only weighs 195lbs himself. A juicer that can bench 500lbs is also incredibly rare. In over 15 years of being involved in gyms and gym culture i can honestly say i've only seen about ten people bench 500lbs [apart from when i've been at comps], and when it happens the gym comes to a standstill and everyone claps when its over. It seems kind of strange that 500lbs is pretty average for someone on Getbig ::)

monster hate crime potential...hahahaha
actually quite unbelievable, this dude sees a half inch by half inch picture of a guy that looks slightly timid and he gets so angry as to want to hurt the guy...hahahah...and it turns out its a straight actor from hollywood...hahahah...wh at a tool you are..hahaha

People should believe it as much as any of your claims as you haven't provided proof of anything!
You can't question the integrity of others when you refuse to prove yours.

But that was WITH a benchpress shirt!!!
This guy weighs approx 87 kgs, and benchpresses 220 kg's. Raw.
I know one guy who could do that.
He is the best natural benchpresser in the world in that weightclass.
So forgive me for doubting, but it is very hard to believe.

Awesome arch. he almost turned that into a deline press.

Out of curiosity, what would a bench shirt add on, say for instance, a 300 pound max lift?
Depends.
If you're fat, like Gene Rychlak, or Mike Wolfe, it will add extreme weights.
Fat in itself will add lots to a raw lift too.
I'm talking about Rychlak getting maybe 400-500 lbs out of his shirt.
Eg, now with Wolfe getting down in weight, I am positive that he would stand no chance to get 700 lbs shirted if he got down to 10% BF.
But at the same time, it's not as simple as adding pounds to a raw lift either.
It takes lots of practice to become a good lifter with shirts. The fatter you are, the easier it is to learn it IMO.
There are some ripped lifters out there who are able to get lots of lbs out of the shirts.
And then there are different plys. Single, double, triple plys. And canvas.
You could probably get 40-50 lbs out of a single ply shirt without too much training though.
In powerlifting, fat = rules.

exactly nycbull, there are two explanations for "KTMckay's" unbridled hate, first, he's a closet queer and he absolutely hates anyone who he sees as being openly gay and happy and second he sees in that guy everything he's not, handsome, successful, while he's still eating bologna sandwiches on the midnight shift at the local factory.

.......

well he does have huge pecs ::)
-
Maybe he is big_D's relative?
-
Well it defintiely is possible. A few guys over here benched close to and over 600 weighing less than 200 or a couple pounds over. Julian Lee is one along with Francis Silva. Hell Doug Ortiz benched around 450 weighing around 150 or 160 at my meet. So 500 at 195 is easily possible.

Benching 450 with a benchpress shirt @ 150 does not even come close to benchpressing 450 lbs raw.
I would be very surprised if this "Doug Ortiz" could benchpress 400 lbs raw.
As for Julian Lee and Francis Silva benchpressing 600 lbs @ around 200 lbs...
I don't believe it.
No 200 lbs benchpresser is able to benchpress 600 lbs raw, to my knowledge.
And you claim there are two guys who are doing it?
No way.

there's this guy i know that does 275 raw but gets 405 with a shirt.....he actually flew out to westside barbel so Louie could show him how to tweak his bench shirt :-\

We have a fat guy on our team that gets 530 in a shirt.
Rumor is that he maxes out with 315 lbs raw. ::)
Ridiculous.

You can alway look in the record books. I know Julian is listed. Not sure about Francis.
Just looked it up. Julian is still the USPF 220 lb. class 2nd place behind Ed Coan. He did 617 at a bodyweight of 217. I called Oahu and ask my friend how much Julian weighed. So I was a little off. He said Francis did a 607 at 207. SO I am wrong sorry, but still unreal.
Is a 705 squat at a bodyweight of 148 good. I know a guy who does that
-
A little add-on to the above post. I think those are old numbers. But they are in the record books. Doug Oritiz also benched 363 at 123 lb. Julian did a 590 at 198

was the 590 at 198 with a shirt, Keith?

I stand corrected.
Julian Lee lifted 600.8 lbs in 4-2-1989, using the first generation benchpress shirt. He probably got 10-20 lbs out of it?
Edit: Compare that to todays shirts, shirts that adds 400+ lbs to a guy like Gene Rychlak.
Gene Rychlak uses triple or 4-ply.
