Genetics? ROTFLMAO!
The only thing that separates a top pro from even a mid level pro is the top pro's guts to take more juice than the mid level pro. Genetics? hahahaha, bullshit. He just takes more gear.

I disagree...drugs do play a role, but genetics are worth a lot as well. I know some guys who take as much if not more then some pro's and they look nothing like a top or even mid-level as you put it. I will agree though, you can make up for sub-par genetics, in terms of the subject, by throwing in drug use.

Nothing but a pro card. After that the decision is their's whether or not to keep pushing to be top tier.
-
it's not all drugs
otherwise we'd have a lot of gym rats looking like pros
-
What seperates a PRO from a top of the line Natural Lifter?
about 50lbs.....
-
genetics and diet. One of my pet peeves is peoplel saying that they just can't continue to make gains etc etc and there eating is not on par with their goals. Genetics, eating, and then gear, in that order IMO

Genetics is everything. Gyms are full of people who look like they dont even work out.
-
genetics and dedication

Genetics are the end all.
Not amount of AAS can make up for bad genetics.
You can throw a Corvette engine in a Chevy Cavalier, but it will always be a Chevy Cavalier.
It might drive better than any other Cavalier on the road, but it's still a shitty car.
Get the idea?

Kovacs is strong............but his aesthetics are horrible.
Even if he hadn't abused all the drugs, he would still be a below average bodybuilder.
Would have been a great powerlifter though....

Yes drugs do play a key role but without dedication, motivation, and the need to get bigger......thats what seperates a pro from a gym rat.....the want and the drive.!

The want and the drive has to be there, no question, but without superior genetics, you can have all the drive in the world and it won't pile up to mean shit in terms of being a pro. I'm not saying that there are not a few who's genetics might not be up to snuff who are pro's, those guys do exist, but in the grand scheme of things those with superior genetics stay on top...if this wasn't the case, if drive was all it took, I'd already be a pro myself...I guarantee that there are a lot of guys like myself, who have the drive, the motivation, probably beyond what a lot of pro's have, but in the end, it is what it is. Fair? Nope, but that's life.
