Tim Sylvia vs Jeff Monson

How do you think this fight will go?

I can see Monson getting in on one of Silvia's long legs, take him down, and execute a g&p game.

btw,

How does Monson pass a drug test?

IGF / GH are damn near impossible to detect.  Stop a cycle long before the testing and keep up the IGF/ Gh.  Use a bunch of short ester hormones with short half lives.

Monson seems slow to me.  I think silva take shim out.  I am eager to see Diaz fight again.  I like that guy's style.

I agree with most of your picks except the GSP/Hughes fight.  Hughes by TKO in the fourth.

Can Sylvia please go away... As long as Munson does not get tagged by a lucky one he should win this one. I assume Hughes will win but i hope its a long fight. Watching GSP scurry around is great. I don't get to see this until Monday morning here in Afghanistan so no damm threads with the winner in the title like last time please.  :P

monson wil take sylvia to the groud and game over for him. GSP over Hughes. GSP just doesn't speak english super well. he understands it just fine but he doesn't like to talk alot because his vocabulary in english is like a 3rd graders. He will push the tempo and freak Hughes out by being the aggressor. And Hughe skeeps saying he is going to knock hm out. He was getting straight blows on penn and couldn't even daze him. the only reson they stopped the fight is because he was goig to give him brain damage from so many punches jarring his head. Don't get me wrong Hughes is great but I don't think he is going ot pull it off against someone who  is spposed to be in his weight class (Penn had to keep too much weight on to staya in class, he should have been down one but wanted to go against hughes that bad, what a man.)

I more excited about these fights than I am about OSU V. Michigan today.  And that is saying a lot, I live in Ohio.  I have turned some sort of corner where I am getting tired of cenventional sports and just wanna see someone get the shit nocked outta them!

Go GSP!

It's time to take Hughes down a few pegs...

Sylvia's got such a reach advantage that I can't see Monson getting him down.
I also figure Vera's got it in thebag if Mir doesn't seriously step it back up to his old level.

Oh, and GSP ;D

The more I think about this,  the more I don't see this happening. The UFC refs are standing the fights up so quickly these days that a ground fighter is at a big disadvantage. I noticed this in the Serra/Lytle fight, even though Serra won. When Matt was on top (guard/half-guard) he was under so much pressure to make something happen before being stood up that he had to rush, and forfeit some technique.

I agree. They make the grapplers stand too quickly nowadays.
Winners:
Tim Sylvia
Brandon Vera
Matt Hughes
the rest? Don't know...don't care
