How many people use a 5-day split?
Like:
Monday -Chest
Tuesday - back
wednesday - legs
-thursday - shoulders
friday- arms
Sat & Sun - off
Is this pushing my body too hard. Would a 4 day split, help me more? And for a 4 day split, how does this sound
monday-chest
tuesday - back & biceps
wed - off
thurs - shoulders & triceps
fri - legs
sat & sun - off

It all depends on your time availablity. If i didnt have a kid i would be there 5 days a week. I backed down to 3-4 and noticed more gains and a more eager desire to get in the gym and train hard.
im currently doing...
1- tri/chest
2-back/abs
3-off
4- delts/bi
5- legs
6-off
7-off or repeat (depends on time and or soreness)

I've alway did a split. i think the push/pull style is just too much movemts and muscle grops a day.
this is what I'm doing right now.
mon chest/forearms
tues quads/hams
wed shoulders/calves/abs
thur bacn and trapsk
fri bis and tris
weekends are off.
I know that chest and forearms dont look right, but its the on day i can train it with out it being on a muscle group that useing forearms. like bac/ arms does
