Marunde is nowhere near those guys, i saw one of his videos and he inclined 315 for a very hard 10 and push pressed 335 overhead for 2, very good but nowhere near what you would expect for a guy at his level and with his drug intake.

Kaz would have wiped the floor with him in the static strength events, the squats, overhead presses, deadlifts, car lifts, etc. but Pudz would hang with him in the more athletic speed events, Kaz benched 661 in a t shirt, deadlifted 886 and squatted 925 so the strength events would go to Kaz.

we actually met Whit at a meet here around 6 years ago and he was extremely strong, nice guy as well, he got in a car accident a few years ago and tried to comeback but i don't think he did very well, he's still fairly young i don't think he's even 30 yet.

He came back to competition after a 6 year lay off the previous year for Pure strength 1,it was a 3 man event with him,Capes and JPS,and JPS won.But Kaz looked really small compared to his best in 82,but one year later he turned up looking monstrous and in the pic above was telling the interviewer that he had just beat JPS twice in recent un-televised strongman events,and that JPS was invited to compete against Kaz at Pure Strength 2 but he turned it down.As to whether he was natural or not,i doubt it.

Pfister has height and grip on Pudzi, two huge advantages. Pudzi is stronger, and overall more athletic. Pfister could beat him in a certain set of events, but would need to better himself in core strength and agility to beat Pudzi period.
But the grip and the height is two huge advantages, Pfister having the biggest hands of all strongmen, never seen bigger hands.
440 pound canadian guy, I think you're probably referring to Hugo Girard. He's not quite that heavy, around 330-340 lbs. (http://www.hugogirard.com/photos/galleries/2004/03-Championnat_mondial_de_la_force/351.jpg)
Great strongman, and aside from Savickas, he probably has the strongest shoulders.
Last year he tore his achilles tendon, but was able to come back recently. During the WSM Super Series in USA he tore the patella tendon, and I don't know how long he will be gone. But that's a very serious injury.
He had raw benched 661 lbs only a few weeks before that contest, so he was in good form, also head to head with Pudzi for the lead in that competition.

In the early 80's when I worked out at Mike Katz World Gym East there was this kid about 6'3" or 6'4" tall. He had shoulders wide as a barn door. A very small waist. And he was big. I think he won teenage Mr. Connecticut in 1980 or 1981. I remember the other competitive bodybuilders saying he had one in a million genetics but trained like a wuss and had no drive.
