Manning connot be forced to come from behind and win every game like he has all season. Going to be the death of them in the playoffs.

Very impressed with Dallas. I was 100 percent wrong about Romo. I have to admit it. Much better fit for the Dallas offense than Bledsoe. I think the win was so impressive because vandersuck missed 2 field goals and Dallas had about 3000000 penalties. Not  to mention the Indy d was playing there best. Hard hits and good pressure. Indy played well all around. Dallas just played better today.

Good game.

That was the best I have seen the defense play all year, but they can't do it all. I hate the Cowboys but they did what almost no other team has done...they figured out how to stop Manning. He couldn't make a play today.

I agree. This is what I said in that thread awhile back. This is why I think Indy will not win the superbowl. Not because I hate them. But because 99 percent of there games this year have been won by the offensive wizardry of manning. That is all well and good. But it cannot be done over and over against good teams that are a bit more complete. lets be honest. Offensively the colts are untouchable. Just amazing. Those receivers are incredable. manning is very talented obviously. But they have big problems on the defensive side of the ball. When they can stop the run they cannot stop the pass. Vice versa.

I do not agree when you say no other team has figured out to stop manning. He has not won any game this year against a good team by a wide margin. Do not get me wrong he is amazing and a great player. but I also think they where getting breaks when they needed them most. They didn't get them tonight and they lost.

I am not trying to say Indy has won only because they got breaks. What i am trying to say is they have yet to win a game convincingly by sheer domination against a good team. Most games where won by them on panalties and turnover by there opponents that they turned into scores. Even then they win by 7 points or less. That is the truth. The best team in the NFL is still the bears imo. Most complete on all sides of the ball.

lol.   ;D  Lucky for me they are very inconsistent.  I say they lose to the Giants and Saints and probably beat the rest.  They have a soft schedule.

Lucky for you they don't play my Niners.  Break up the Niners!   ;D

well said. I am still hoping for a Super Bowl but I am not holding my breath.

If NE does not make it to the superbowl and Indy does I will not be sour about it at all. Manning is a INCREDABLE qb and he will get his. I just do not think he will this year due to his defensive woes.

Do not think I do not know how dangerous the Colts are. They are very capable of getting to the big one. I am not 100%delusional lol. A talented team is a talented team.

How funny is it that Veneteri(sp) missed 2 FG at New England then Vanderjet(sp) missed two tonight against Indy?

Thank you; i was the one who said Romo had good potential despite those interceptions during the first game.

Now Dallas is worth watching. They should try to use Barber more; he's a better back than Jones.

Peyton's a very good but not great QB. A great QB could've put it in the end zone at the end; he didn't even try to improvise when he threw the ball out of the end zone.

OWNED-you're a dumbass. They're not a great team, but a lot better with a good QB. Learn the game and you'll figure out what i'm talking about fool.

Now they're a good but not great team with a very good QB in a division without great teams, in a league that's skewed to passing. The difference a QB's makes gets bigger and bigger.

And he's probably not quite good enough to win them in the last minute all the time, as proven today.

Doesn't matter how good HE is if the recievers are not open or they simply don't catch the ball.

That last pass he threw out of the end zone-when the receivers were covered he wasn't pressured, had time to think of something else-run, run to buy time to throw, throw to a back, etc. before just throwing it away.

Wayne missed a couple of reasonable passes, so did the tight end. I wonder if the coaches ever talk to them about it.

yeah, but I honestly think he was hoping for a flag for pass interference. He had nobody open and he does not run very often.

Hoping for a call's not great; he's very good but might be missing that little extra. Could win without it though, or maybe rise to that level in the playoffs finally. Even this year.

Clearly they're a better team this year than any other because of the experience and a better RB. Defense is decent considering the expectations. Better that they lost today than try to go undefeated, in the long run.

He no longer bothers me, after the last few years of playoff debacles. I think like Elway he's finally been humbled, which shows in his play. It's less about him piling up yards and more about the team winning. Same thing that happened with Elway.

I agree with you they are a better offensive team. But they are not better defensivley. They lost three impact defensive players this year. Keep in mind they have also been very lucky injury wise this season. Imagine if harrison went down for the playoffs?

Who knows how it will work out. They could charge through the playoffs take out NE and win it all. Or it could go the other way. Either way manning needs to keep his cool.

Colts defense is solid & well-coached; nowhere near as bad as claimed.

Colts upgraded at RB; he's the real deal & better than James IMO.

That is weird thing about NFL players. They look normal until you see the trainers running up to them and getting dwarfed. I saw Corey Dillon a few times during the summer in Marina bay ( where alot of the Pats plyers live) and he was a big boy. About 6 feet and looked to be a good 230. legs like a horse. In great condition also. Alot of the best genetics in the world are in pro football.

Huge difference in person. Same with most BBs.

Peyton Manning's like a basketball player, at 6'6". I'd never have known from watching the games.

yeah I guess you have a point.NBA players don't look so big either next to each other.I remember when Kobi Bryant was in trouble and I saw him on t.v next to his lawyer.

I saw Jabbar crossing an intersection in midtown, while he was still playing. Dwarfed huge crowds crossing 5th Avenue, by 1-2 feet. Couldn't have stood out more.

Impossible for him to blend in unnoticed.
