I remember these videos when they aired.................

you-tube is an awesome treasure trove of American  Muscle Magazine and of videos from bb past!

It was pretty common back then to show the "softer" side of athletes.
Showing guys walking around a pond or lake, feeding birds, horses, and looking introspectively was something HBO did for years on their boxing broadcasts.
It was their way of humanizing them I guess. Some I guess would call it "Oprahsizing" them.

Hey I know It's Mayhem, but I didn't see it here on get big.
There is a thread on Mayhem of a Video documentary of his 1980 comeback. Interesting because I did not know that it existed. The cool stuff in the Video is the Tom platz coverage. There just as much of Tom as Arnold. Which is cool considering you don't see much footage on Platz. He speaks allot about his training and his lifestyle. The one crazy thing is that at the end, where they show the contest and then announce the placings, Tom is not even in the top 15. It's absurd!!!
He was the only one with legs at all. Guess at the time no one cared for the X frame !!
