Title: What's Bush's most ludicrous photo-op???
Post by: Hugo Chavez on November 20, 2006, 06:57:43 PM
Hard to beat the "mission accomplished" stunt but I find this one particularly annoying...

"There was a striking discrepancy between the CNN International report on the Bush visit to the New Orleans disaster zone, yesterday, and reports of the same event by German TV. ZDF News reported that the president's visit was a completely staged event. Their crew witnessed how the open air food distribution point Bush visited in front of the cameras was torn down immediately after the president and the herd of 'news people' had left and that others which were allegedly being set up were abandoned at the same time. The people in the area were once again left to fend for themselves, said ZDF. [War And Piece] "

"ok mr president, we need you to lift the branch a little higher so you look like you know what you're actually doing, ...just a bit higher, ...and move your right arm out a bit, so we can see the dirt on the T-shirt, yeah, ...yes, ...that's it, .....now smile for the birdy."  :D

You forgot the one where he was laughing and playing the guitar while thousands of New Orleans residents were dying.

He thought "Katrina" was a movie he was watching.  He thought "Brownie" was a befuddled movie personality who meant well and fumbled, but always seemed to solve problems in the end.  it was only when he found out that he pissed off Kanye West that he decided to act quickly, and he did what he does best:  He sent 50,000 more troops into Iraq.

JAG...that is not an ear piece. Those are ear plugs. One in each ear. They are  identical to the type that's very common in factories and places like that.Blue with red orange cord. :)

Where are all the usual war mongers we have posting on this board? Why aren't they defending the honor of their leader in War?

Relentlessly tazor some harmless college student? No problem, he was asking for it. Start a ridiculous war and have zero strategy for getting out when it goes to hell? No problem, the Iraqi people love us.  ::)

Olbermann destroyed Bush last night.  When asked what lessons we learned from Vietnam, Bush responded something so ignorant, so offbase that Olbermann spent 5 minutes laying out the parallels between iraq and Nam.  So very similar.

What a messed up war. I feel bad for people who are still defending it.  To their family and friends who have witnessed their argument change from WMD to sadaam to freedoms to elections to now, preventing civil war... well, they must lack credibility in the eyes of those around them.

Thanks for the clarification.  :)

So Bush wears ear-plugs? I guess that explains why he refuses to listen to the people,
...or to the courts, ...or to the laws, ...or to the actual needs of the American people, or the country.
He's not deaf... he just has his ear plugs in. What I don't understand is why he would need to plug his ears up?

Between the excessive alcohol & cocaine, I doubt there's anything left between his ears that could fall out. :-\

I guess the smell of sulphur was still in the air. We know it stayed on the podium for a few days,
...I guess standing directly downwind must have been really nasty.  :-X
