I recently converted our extra bedroom into a home gym. I lifting up to 150 lbs (per dumbell ) for dumbell presses. Our carpet, and the pad are the only thing protecting the floor ( concrete ). I am not so worried about the floor, but I am worried about breaking my 18" dumbell handles that I had to pay out the A$$ for. I have searched around the internet and I have found a 6' x 4' x 3/4" rubber matts. Would these be the best for protecting my handles and the floor?, If so any ideas where I can get them cheap? The best price I have found was $129 Shipped. The Matt weights about 100 lbs. They also have some in 1/2", and 3/8" thicknesses. I am thinking the 3/4" thick ones would be best. The highest my dumbells will be dropped on purpose will be from 2' above the ground.

Yes I did do a google search, and I have already found those companies, but being its google and there are probably Hundreds of places to buy the mats, I thought that maybe someone might know of a place not easily found on google.
