It's really nice.  We have an older deck, it needs stained this spring.  We were thinking about staining it brown.  Our house is kind of an English Tudor, so I think it would look pretty good in brown.

Hell, someone start a deck/yard thread.   ;D

I will post some pics of the big deck. The one shown is the smaller side deck. The home they are attached to is a colonial.

I hope to buy a modern/contemporary home one day.

Take his keys! I wish I could have snapped a picture of my pup this morning. You would have loved it stella. He has discovered he can rip trim boards of the railing of my pool. You should have seen him streaking across the yard with a 4 foot board in his mouth. It was halarious.

We have a little Miniature Schnauzer when the snow is deep she jumps out the back door into the snow and just sinks then has to be lifted out.  ;D

Beautiful dog but she doesn't look friendly. How is she around strangers and other dogs?

Effin, most bully type dogs have that serious look to them when they are not smiling. Same thing with a man with a wide jaw and sharp features. Can tend to look a bit more intimidating to some people. Check out the difference.

My american bulldog can look that way when he is not smiling.

I see what you mean but your dog just looks lovable. That other dog looks unhappy, I'm sure it's just the picture but you can see how people would be intimidated by seeing her.

she is very very people friendly...so are most apbts who are not raised by scum bag owners...she espicially loves kids.

ive taken her to the dog park since she was a pup so she is used to being around other dogs...sometimes she plays aggressive but not to the point where she will fight...but i always keep an eye on her when she is around other dogs...any type of bully breed will have some animal aggression in them by nature so its always a good idea to be cautious around other animals.

thats good...ive been doing that with mine also since she was a pup...she was actually very friendly with all dogs up till around 2 years old...now when i take her to the dog park i have to watch her around larger dogs...she is fine with the smaller breeds but when some of the larger dogs come up to her and are aggressive or give her that nose to nose stare down, she will put them on their back...its has never been to the point where she got into a fight or tried to bite another dog but she will take them down in an aggressive manner...its never gone past that but some other dog owners give me that look and will take their dog to the other side of the park...of course because she is a pit bull...if it was a lab or golden retriever they wouldnt think anything of it.

The most unstable and snippy dogs are usually smaller dogs. Since they are little people do not train them correctly and they become aggressive. Pits can be animal aggressive if not socialzed throughly. I would recommend getting her around other pups as much as possible. If she becomes aggressive correct her and take her away from all the dogs playing for a few min.

Our Miniature Schnauzer might not have the jaw strength, but she's meaner than any Pit Bull could ever think about being.  ;D

Or the people that think pits are aggressive towards human naturally. Aaahahah, They where specifically bred to be ultra loyal and tolerant of people. So when the pit fighters "broke" the fight they did not get mauled..

Monster ignorance.

You know Schnauzers were bred to hunt small rodants in Bavaria.  You should see this little dog, i'll get pictures later.  She hates mice, and gets small animals like mice and birds sometimes, she only weights around 11 pounds by the way.

That is true. What I meant was when other pups get aggressive he just sort of looks at them like " get serious" and runs around smiling.

Thank you.  Most of the time he's a good boy, but he's got about an hour out of his day that he's a psycho monster.

Not real strict on the shoe thing anymore - used to be.
Yes I have a Hoover carpet cleaner and I absolutely HATE IT.
I'd rather rent a Rug Doctor ...

I was at the vet a couple of weeks ago and there was a bassett brought in on emergency.  She was SHOT IN THE HEAD (right above one of the eyes).  AMAZING - she is doing just fine - as if nothing happened  :o   The owners don't know who or why  :'(  I can't believe there are a$$holes out there who do that kind of thing  >:( >:(
