Makes you wonder..
-
Maybe Sergio wouldn't play 'pop pop' with the man in charges' wife in front of him so he still holds a grudge.
-
they better have, those bastards

Has there ever even been a training article with Sergio?

No; as with Draper, Nubret, Oliva and others, once they were off the Weider radar for various political reasons, they didn't exist to much of the world, some of whom still claim BB politics don't exist. ::)
-
Sergio was on the cover of Muscle Builder which Flex before Flex or Muscle & Fitness

That's exaclty how Musclemag could rival Flex!!!
-
Not at all, it kind of goes along with the rest of my feeling regarding Flex and the force behind it... I cannot say I'm suprised.
-
Flex began in 1983, well after the careers of the top bodybuilders of the 1960s. The only reason Arnold was ever on the cover was because he became a movie star.
Oliva also got banned by the IFBB when he entered WBBG contests beginning in 1972.
Muscle Builder was the Weider magazine throughout the 1960s and 1970s. If you look up a bodybuilder's name in MuscleMemory (http://musclememory.com) and look at the bottom of the individual's page you'll see all the mags he's been on. Oliva has been on Muscle Builder four times.

Not you , pumpster thinks Sergio only got shafted by Weider which is nonsense .
-
And Sergio was in Flex magazine in their coverage of the 1984 and 1985 Mr Olympia

ND's a sucker; Serge Nubret himself alluded to the various Weider hijinks.
Anyone can see that various other great BBs were never featured in the 70s Muscle mag. Unlike ND i remember it. ;D

He was past his prime in that one. How about one with all of Sergio's best shots?
-

Speaking of which I'm willing to bet my left nut that Arnold and Betty Weider have..........you know, did the duty.
Flex Wheeler has only been on FLEX mag cover once and it was with Nasser. How's that for being one of the best ever?
-

I wouldn't be surprised.

We're not talking about Serge we're talking about Oliva , and why would Weider put all the guys who thought the grass was greener on the other side on his mags? they all left and all came back , they all had it so bad yet they all came back with their tails between their legs .

ND alone, ruminating about nothingness. hahaahahahahahahah

pumpster whenever you're confronting on your claims you revert to nonsensical posts
Sergio was banned from the IFBB because he competed in a non IFBB contest he took off to Europe and competed over there and cleaned house he went back to the IFBB in 1984 and and bitched because he placed 8th at the Olympia lol I mean serious 8th was a gift , almost all your disgruntled former IFBB bodybuilders who competed else where all returned. this is a fact.

ND has EXCUSES for EVERYTHING. I wasn't even referring to only Oliva, but this dumbass fixates on Oliva because he wants to spin some kind of fiction about Oliva past his prime in the 80s. ???
No ones' buying it, unless you believe ND over Nubret.

No you fixate on Sergio and his claims of being a victim , and these are facts kid and you can't dispute them.
-
Sergio Oliva was on the back of "reader's digest" a few years ago and it said in the caption "No one remembers who came second!
-
flex absolutely put sergio on the cover sometime around 2003. they did a huge tribute article.

In that case let's forget about him and go with Nubret or Draper. What are the stock excuses in these cases?

I haven't followed it , not like I have with Sergio , Flex , Paris , etc.

ND not sure what was written here but are yousaying Weider had no beef with Sergio at all. How about in South Africa what he did to Sergio.

Has there ever even been a training article with Sergio?
When I first started working out 7 years ago, the gym I used to go to had a bunch of Flex's from the mid 80's through to the mid 90's and Sergio was in quite a few articles. There was even one which had a picture of Arnold & Maria Shriver watching Sergio train in Chicago (I'd give anyhting to have that now). I don't recall ever seeing a Flex with Sergio on the front cover though.
No I think that Arnold gets a special at least once a year, why not the man that dumbfounded Arnold?
Hell no, that would alert some Flex readers to the fact that Arnold actually lost a Mr Olympia contest. I think they'd prefer to keep those kind of things under wraps. Why have that when you can have "How Arnold Built His Massive Biceps - His Training Secrets Inside". The world needs another one of those articles, now, more than ever.
SERGIO!!!!!
