Just listening to Pat Summerall on a local radio station talking about how a playoff system in D1A is impossible. Why not just have each conference winner, plus a handful of independents, compete in a playoff? How hard can that be? I know it's not going to happen, but seems like a simple solution, and it's what every other sport at every other level does.
I understand the politics involved with the "BCS" system. I really hate that system.

If a way o make money can be ironed out it will work. It may allow 2nd tire schools get bowls and let th top teams play in the playoffs. I'm glad th BCS is screwed up.if it woked we would never get a playoff. They have to do something.

The current system is screwed up. You have coaches ranking teams they haven't spent two minutes looking at on film. Makes no sense.
