Title: Leg press and compression on the lower back
Post by: KSA on December 10, 2006, 08:32:35 AM
When i do sets over 10 reps on a leg press my lower back is sore.
I actually use a vertical leg press.
I stop the ROM before rounding the lower back.

Is it normal ?

Thanks.

you should do a  45 degree leg press instead. it takes the stress off the lower back/hip area..

Yes, and you can also adjust the back of the seat accordingly that makes it more comfortable for you.

Today i did single leg presses on my vertical leg press, and it was more comfortable for my lower back.
