Mine was finished at the end of November - I hardly had to buy for anyone this year. Ah, the benefits of having a small family.

I finished before I started.  We gave up christmas shopping and gift giving years ago in my family.  It allows us all to just spend time together and enjoy the holiday without buying into the stress or commercialism.  :)

To get a gift in my family you have to be under 10.

I am not really into gift giving as I am not rich and have a fairly big family ;D But for real though I don't like to leave anyone out so if i do something for christmas it is usually taking everyone out to breakfest or something so we can all be together and overall i find it to be cheaper. But I do like to buy my blood nephew a present also but i don't tell anyone but my brother.

Man, you took the words out of my mouth, because the only real gift that I buy is for my nephew. For the rest of the family only a little souvenir, normally something to eat...

all my nieces and nephews get the same thing...$ in an envelope.  parents never ask for anything, and amongst the brothers, sisters, and in-laws, we chose only 1 person to by for. i have my brother this year. he wants an expensive camera, so i am chipping in with 2 others on it. there...my shopping is done! (i don't by friends any gifts...and whatever i get from them usually gets returned anyway!)
