Title: The Asian Games 2006 – Doha
Post by: aliamini on December 11, 2006, 07:40:59 AM

The opening ceremony was the best I have send ever.  Their goal is to host the Olympics in 2016 and the World cup in 2018 and after what I saw … they will do a great job.  The following are the results of each category.  In BBing Bahrain got 1 gold and 3 silver & Qatar got 2 gold and 1 silver.

they should show some pics of the public stonings, hangings and beheadings of criminals..that would be more fun than seeing some sheik with a cheesey mustache lighting a flame..fucking camel jockey pricks.

They looked good.  I was impressed by Mohammed Sabah.  Although he dropped a lot of weight.  I think he could have placed 2nd easily in the 85 and 90KG but he was aiming for Gold in the 80KG and all I can say is tough Luck.  Sayed Faisal looked good too.  I didn’t expect any medal from him but there you go he got silver.  I had hope for Faisal who I thought he would get at least 3rd place.  Fadhel was again good for 2nd.

Abbas … it was an achievement for him to even get qualified … specially this year that they had no 55KG and all the 55 and 60KG were mixed.

I didn’t see any pix of Tariq except couple of them in the newspaper.  By as long as he got gold that is what counts.

asiansensation:
Ali Tabrizi already qualified for his IFBB Pro card, because he is the current IFBB World Champion (overall). Kamal already was IFBB Pro, but preferes to compete as an IFBB Amateur. Outside the US a world champion counts more than and IFBB Pro.

Thanks ChristinaFitness for the info. I hope Sitthi from Thailand who is also the current World Champion and gold medalist in the light middle 80kg in the Asian Games 2006 will turn pro too next year. I think he has the potential to go far in IFBB pro.  :D
