Yes, because Flex is the bible of modern bodybuilding and we must believe everything it says.  ::)

IMO, Flex has gone downhill since 2001.  I'm not sure if anyone will understand this but since the 2001 "O" the pics of conetests look crappy and not as "classy" or pronounced.  You compare a pic of Jay and Ronnie from then and now and it seems like photography has taken a giant leap backwards.

Sort of. That cover featured a composite bodybuilder. Flex put together their best bodyparts from pros and made this cover photo. I think it was Maz's arms, Kevin's delt, Fux's pecs, etc... something like that. I don't really remember because I was drunk & stoned most of 1996.

hahaha!!!

"An Aesthetic Dorian Yates: A fifth straight Olympia crown should bury once and for all any misconception that the title reflects only mass. Quality, detail and symmetry distanced Mr. Olympia from the rest of the pack in Chicago. Now, he pulls back the curtain on the training wrinkles that allowed him to add another Sandow to his mantle. They were. I still to this day like the Arnold Shwarzennegger Encyclopedia of modern day bodybuilding. What a great book.

Thats a shame because you missed one of the best decades that saw the rise of grunge wear, whiny "rock" music, slackers, baggy jeans, wiggers, rap, windows 3.1, Janine Garafola, "Jeremy" , NSync, 98 degrees, and that "genius" rocker that decided to do a huge amount of heroin with his daughter in the next room.

The 90's..... worst decade ever.
