Title: Persistent headaches that last all day
Post by: Cap on December 13, 2006, 10:10:58 AM: Anybody got any advice or diagnosis from personal experience? This shit is a running for a week or so. No drugs or alcohol.

If I were you mate I'd be asking this question to a doctor. Seriously, a headache that lasted for so long would worry me

But i attempt to help people. Try ibuprofen?

I really don't know Linda because I normally don't get headaches and if I do they go away quickly.

sometimes you can get rid of a headache by alleviating the pressure through controlled breathing/massaging the temples .... i think its entirely psychosomatic but it works for me

that or i just smoke another bowl ;D

Didn't work. It acutally has start to worry me, it is hard to concentrate and keep my eyes open at times.

Migraines or just headaches? Imitrex is one of best prescription medications for migraines. I had a bout several years ago and took that stuff. Worked pretty well.

Migraine is to a headache what the flu is to a cold. :) Usually more intense than "normal" headaches and often accompanies nausea.

Post by: TrapsMcLats on December 13, 2006, 07:37:05 PM: migraines are brutal, i used to get them when i was going thru puberty. I would go blind in my left eye and get extremely nauseous. I got on a medication called esgic plus that did wonders though. I would take one and sleep for about 6 hours. Then i would wake up fresh as a daisy.
