Here we go again. Just like DJ, Luke looks great pre- but when the contest day comes comes, he is once again flat. Sell your wares elsewhere. This shite is getting old. ::)

always looks great coming into a show, remember the shot of his chest from last year when he was doing the cable crossovers? That was an incredible pic but he fades come show time. He's a super nice guy and I wish him well but I hope he can nail it when it counts.

I say no more of this getting super cut for shows, its bullshit, how great would it be to see guys this big on stage competing, instead of coming in and looking like orange skinless skeleton head freaks.

i agree, these guys look like they age about thirty years in the few weeks before a show, they should come in just like Luke looks right there.

His face is still holding water, I'm certain its not fat. He's close to stage ready already after dropping water.

Seriously, his mass just keeps growing and growing. Unbelievable! Everytime I see his offseason pics I think he's going to be Mr. Olympia and then he shrinks the day of the contest.
But now this is just insane! He looks bigger than Jay!

Luke, stop dieting, eat a few good cheat meals for a few weeks, then start dieting again 4 weeks out.... Please don't turn into another DJ....though your pictures are way better, and you don't have the title "King of the Tank Top 5 Weeks Out."

Seems ALMOST ready for being 9 weeks out probably be in contest shape by 4 weeks out and just coast the rest of the way. Who knows? Im no damn contest diet consultant.

It's just weird how those arms don't belong with those pecs & delts. He's tight though... being 9 weeks out, real tight.

Thanks Neddy for posting the pics and thankyou so much guys for your comments. I will be alot fuller this year at the Ironman. The lighting there is incredible and adds 10lbs to your physique. I am 273 in these shots at under 6% BF. So with water etc i will be on stage at 262-264. 5-7lbs bigger than ever on stage. My body looks so much better when i am fuller, when i diet down to much, i lose my whole upper body, so if it means sacrificing a few more striations to look much bigger and better than thats how it will be. The big face?? Count explain that one, but i know it looks alot more healthier than the draw skeleton look!

Don't you agree that his face is showing signs of acromegaly? The double chin, thick forehead etc - all signs of heavy GH use.

Do you have any older pics of your face, say late teens, early 20s or so? Maybe that's just the way your skull is but it does look "weird".

No offence Luke but you have the thickest and freakiest skull of any pro IMO. Like I said, maybe it always looked like this, can't say since I haven't seen earlier pics of you.

Nothing really, that's each person's prerogative.
The reason I asked shoot if he thought Luke had signs of acromegaly is because he has commented on various Pros having just that. If anyone has it Luke surely does, as his look is very caveman-like. However, shoot is friends with Luke so he is probably not going to comment LOL.

Actually, acromegally has a bit different look. Its more the prominance of the supraorbital frontal bones (frontal bossing) and jaw. Increased space between teeth (jaw enlargement), tongue and lip growth. Also, often see the growth of hands and feet in addition to swelling. Sometimes pictures of competitors all dieted down can be misleading. Some people have thicker skull structures naturally. As you pointed out, comparison pictures are most important in recognizing changes in an individual. Not meaning to be insulting, but look at comparison pictures of the former mr. O.
