Nothing against Jay Cutler, but these guys have all the potential in the world to beat him when:
1.) Victor Martinez - He will own Jay if he gets his conditioning to 100% hands down.
2.) Phil Heath - When this rookie puts on just a little bit more size he has Mr.Olympia written all over him.
3.) Dennis Wolf - He has great symmetry and small waist. This is another rookie that when he puts on more size he will be the new blond white boy the IFBB will be going after.
4.) Ronnie Coleman - This man owns anyone on stage and has proven this for years. If Big Ron can bring his injuries up and get his conditioning right for next year than no one holds a candle to him.
5.) Dexter Jackson - Great symmetry, great conditioning, awsome density...If he can improve himself any further and not let his stomach extend at all he can own Jay.
You guys give your best Top 5.........
-
Well I agree with none of that.
Jay Cutler is Mr Olympia for a reason - because he is the best bodybuilder in the world right now.
Ronnie won't beat him again - too old
Phil Heath won't beat him - too small.
Dexter won't beat him - same reason as Heath
Dennis Wolf - not even top ten Olympia material - don't know how the hell you can eevn consider him.
Martinez - possibly, but not for several years down the line.

Yes, you are right his waist isn't big enough if he can work on thickening up his stomach he would be in good stead.

I am not saying that they should have beat him this year read into it more...Jay won because he was the best and I don't argue that, but these other guys have the ability to beat him...Jay is not by far an over-powering Mr. Olympia the way the kings of the past were...By the way, Martinez has the ability to beat Jay right now if he gets his conditioning perfect...Watch out for Dennis Wolf too alot of people are not giving him much credit, but time will tell and this year will be a big factor on what comes to hold for Jay....

If, If If.... that's alot of "ifs", man.

Its called speculation....I am proving the point that Jay has alot to worry about as reigning Mr. Olympia...Much more than the last 3 Mr. Olympia's....
-
Most every pro has the "ability" to beat Jay or anyone on the right night and circumstance. All this has been said about Jay in the past.
-
Martinez may be a runner, but only if he gets a little bigger and can make those calves look a lil less small in comparison to Jay's.
The thing about the O is that it doesn't matter what type of body you have, so long as it's bigger and more ripped than the champ. The Martinez of today with his lines and such won't be the Martinez of tomorrow should he develop a physique that will give him the My O title.
He'll look like Jay with a different head on his shoulders.
-
Vic and Phil CAN beat him, but only if he lets himself slip and they come in at their absolute best. Jays name alone carries alot of weight with the judges, and he has all the tools needed to be the best - hence why hes Mr O. Coleman is finished IMO, his peak is passedand hes on his way out. Wolf - are you kidding me? He'll be gone in 2 years the way things are going, and Dex has lost his advantage over the field as he hasnt changed his physique.
Im a massive Jay fan, and im honest enough to admit he has what can be seen as major flaws. But overall he brings a slightly better package than the rest.

vic phil ruhl shelestov shabunia wolf coleman dexter on and on

absolutely right..but i won't count coleman out.ronnie has to do alot of work to improve himself and by the looks of his injuries its gonna be really tough..

i agree with you except Wolf. He is the only man i saw who had good mass with extremely small waist.Normaly,if you have good legs, your waist grow. Believe me,its true. But,i think this guys waist will remain the same even he gets 20lbs heavier.
So,when he gets enough mass, i believe he is gonna be a mr.o.
-
Any man whose arms and legs look the same size should beat Cutler, yes, even Vince G :D
-
shelestov shabunia
Right

i dont see Wolf making a long term impact in the sport, maybe ill be proved wrong but better guys have disappeared without a trace when they have competed against the current crop. Plus the new faces coming through are looking like theyll rule the sport for the next decade

Will Alexey Shabunia rip apart the a the Jay Cutler?

I trained with Dennis Wolf a few weeks ago, his size and conditioning was simply amazing. Those guys look 2/3 times bigger in real life (especially the back) He's very open and friendly.
-
Dennis was 293 pounds 2 weeks ago, now he is over 300 in great offseason shape.(picture was taken 2 weeks ago)

Looking abnormal, the freak, I wonder who would have wanted to look like that?

That's insane.

not with those skinny legs.
-
Phil Heath is just like every other next great in any other sport. People love to support the next champion prior to the championship for a multitude of reasons. Biggest reason is "I was a fan before any of you, I knew it all along" If Phil has staying power (no injuries, good health, desire to walk the wild side), he should be a consistent top tier star, but forget about Olympia status. If Flex Wheeler couldn't nab it, Phil sure won't.

Maybe Phil can avoid the Ninjas....
-
not with those skinny legs.
Skinny legs?
I don`t think so
-
Skinny legs?
I don`t think so
jays legs are still bigger..waay bigger
-
Skinny legs?

yes they are compared to the top American pros, they look like toothpicks next to Jay's.
-
Jay,I dont like his physic but i admit he is the best now.
-
Maybe Phil can avoid the Ninjas....
The ninjas are so great, they should add their own book to the New Testament.
-

Get ready for leg measurement posts, off season spandex short pics focused on his sweap, etc..... but as you pointed out, his legs are not awesome. He better watch his mid-section as it may start to over power his upper quads.
-
jay had the best legs in the sport 3 years ago, they seem to have some size problems right now that dont seem to be improving. Hes still got tree trunks, but the sweep isnt what it used to be. They were 33" at one point
-
THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE A THE CUTLER LOOKS GOOD WHEN STANDS ALONE
POST THE PICS OF HIM WITH COLEMAN AND SHELESTOV TOGETHER, FROM REAR AND THE SIDES. JAYS GOT THE TOOTH TH TH TH TH PICKS. AND HEAVY JAW
-
maybe now, but theres no denying hid leg quality. Its like showing an old pic of Ronnie when he was 240 and criticising his stomach because he has piss poor abs and is now fat
-
He is just going on his second year in the IFBB....
-
yes they will all beat jay in 2012! have fun waiting! :-*
-

Yeah Jay is that overpowering......... ::)
-
not really, its more to do with the fact hes now mr olympia! How many gifts he will receive is to be determined, but we know what Haney, Yates and Coleman got because of it
-
Imagine if Levrone made a comeback........ ???
-
Can't believe no one said Toney Freeman. If he keeps getting better, who knows what he can accomplish.
-

FREEMAN NADA.CUTLER SMASHES ON EVERYONE INCLUDING RONNIE. RONNIE CAN EVEN MATCH CUTLER IN SIZE AND VICTOR MARTINEZ WELL HES REALLY TINY HE NEEDS 20LBS TO BEAT JAY.
-
Cutler is the most underwhelming Mr. O of all-time. Nothing about his physique makes you go "oh shit"....not like Yates or Coleman at their peaks.
-
yea really small legs ???
-
yes they will all beat jay in 2012! have fun waiting! :-*
slayer have you managed to get in bed with Jay yet ::) You ball hugger
-

The only reason I didn't put Freeman on the list is because I feel it is going to take him another few years to detail his physique out and by that time he will be around 42 or older...So I really think Freeman is an outstanding bodybuilder, but he chose to make a competitive splash a little to late in life...The Master's will always be there for him though...

ouch. that back comparison is embarassing. Jay getting owned.
Pubic is right though, Dorian at his peak and ronnie at his peak would have crushed him, whether he was 270 or not.
Jay does not have the "wow" factor that most other Mr. Olympias have had when they are in shape:
eg.
