jay lifted pretty heavy ass weight innew improved and beyond..he did 405lbs on the incline bench,145lb incline dumbell presses,90lbs flyes..275lbs stiff leg deads,405lb barbell rows..he used full stack on almost all the machines..don't how much did he lift in leg press and hack squats?

Jay disappointed me with his strength in his previous DVDs. The impact of watching Ronnie lift those insanely high numbers for almost every exercise didnt allow me to appreciate the weight Jay was using, especially as hes still lean as hell in the DVDs. Its unfair to compare the 2, but when i see Jay benching 315 i see Ronnie doing the 500 for 3.

Jay is training his muscles instead of his ego.
What are you? powerlifting pussy's ?

He is so boring.
Jay you are boring if you read it!

You can learn alot from his DVD's, instead of hearing 'YEH BUDDY"

He planned an off-season dvd (his first) right after the 2006 <O> if im not mistaking. He promised it was gonna be explosive.

he did 8 plates on each side of the hack squat for very deep reps, 10 plates per side on the leg press and 4 plates per side on Smith Machine front squats for deep reps.
-
stiff leg deadlifts where 315 i believe not 275
-
10 plates per side on the legpress is good - for warm up

BB's = wimps. Powerlifters = real men.
Reminder: They are nothing next to Gary Busey.

But he's still helluva lot stronger than Jay.

translation=you put the seat all the way up, put three pairs of wraps on each knee, get two guys on each side to help push the weight and lower your knees 3 inches with 12 plates per side.

Brutal hot movie ;D

Ronnie does quarter reps.
still he use more than twice the weight and twice the reps

not for the same ROM that Jay uses, Jay brings his knees down into his chest, Ronnie stops well short of that, so you have to cut Ronnie's poundages in half to do the same ROM that Jay does.

so you're saying cutler and ronnie is either equally strong or ronnie is a pussy who dont train as hard as he could (if you indeed, think he's stronger)

ronnie ego lifts like crazy in his videos, especially cost of redemption. there's no reason to use a squat suit if you're a bodybuilder, and those leg press reps were a joke. the hack squats from the unbelievable were really something, though.

Keep in mind that Ronnie used a NEBULA Leg Press in that video.
To the virgins who don't know...that particular leg press is at a very very low angle. 35 degrees. The platform is made so when you cock the seat back and put the feet up high...it is even easier.
Dont get me wrong...it was still impressive but put Ronnie on the Cybex linear bearing leg press that Yates loved so much I doubt Ronnie would be pressing 2000+lbs.
To be honest...I have the Flex Equipment leg press Jay used in Ripped To Shreds. With the seat not cocked all the way up but not at the lowest position...right in the middle I use 10 plates a side for a hard 10 reps.
On the NEBULA model I can probably add another 3-4 plates a side.

so basically you and jay use the same amount of weight, using the same exercise and the same legpress. and he's 300 pounds with some of the biggest legs in the business, and yet we're supposed to be impressed with jays performance (well at least sarcasm is) ?
