A picture from a long time ago, he looked much better than nowadays.
-
and if he'd stayed like that you'd have no idea who he is. he'd be some low-level bodybuilder that never made it big. instead he's one of the biggest names in strength.
-
whenm i spoke to him on friday he discouraged me froim bbuilding. said that it was based on what ya look like compared to what you can do. also said it was based on whjo you know and who knows you. all politics. hes a great guy. gentleman

He's doing what he does best. He was an ok BB but an exceptional strong man

Dear Friends
Kind regards
Glenn Ross had a standing military press of 405lbs, at a bodyweight of 420lbs.

Yoyrs thankfully

dear moral man, decipher this please.
up the shut fuck.
regards

well that's funny, i've seen arnold classic videos of him doing a 365 axle press for three with absolutely terrible form and a way cockeyed hand placement. logic would tell us that if he gripped the bar evenly and was using a normal barbell 405 wouldn't be that difficult.
keep in mind a 405 standing shoulder press is WAY impressive, considering in the videos ross doesn't use any leg drive whatsoever. a 405 jerk isn't much, a 405 push press is pretty impressive, but a 405 momentum-less military is damn impressive.

Huge guy in person. Huge hands, huge head. VERY big guy.
Might not be pretty, but he wants to be strong, and he is certainly strong.

I agree.
Power to weight is relatively weak.
-
The guy is a strongman, his weight is irrelevant, he doesn't compete in weigh classes. He still presses 405 pounds over his head. If you don't think that is impressive, you probably believe that some people can deadlift 1 1/4 times their bodyweight 112 times ::)
-
Is he still doing WSM?
-
is gonna do britains strongest man this year as a tester to see how much he has recovered then he said all being well will be at it next year
-
He won the UK's strongest man in Belfast in September this year. Overhead pressing and deadlifting ability was awesome. While some guys really struggled to put the solid appollons bar overhead Glenn pressed it like an empty olympic bar. In fact if he had let it go it would probably have risen 5 feet into the air.

AAAHHHHH so that means he will fail at being a strongman? Idiot.

I was watching the World Strongman Cup Event from Armagh (held in May this year) this morning on Eurosport, and Glen won the squat, 280 kilos for 15 reps in 60 seconds, the guy is unbelievable.

Hope he comes back and kicks Marunde's ass!
