You gotta admit that Jay has to understand that his win over Ronnie was marginal. He also must understand that Ronnie probably would go into overdrive for 2007. If he hasn't contemplated and planned for this, he is a fool. I wonder what Jay plans to do. Because bringing what he brought this year won't work. Under normal circumstances I would give to the new Mr. O but he's going against an 8 time Mr. O.
In addition I don't know what kind of obligations a Mr. O has but this definetly changes the way Jay does things although I'm sure he cuts his appearances a certain amount of weeks out.
Ronnie also can train without Jay in his shadow, (not that he cared anyway). But Jay has to have Ronnie in the back of his mind all year long.

He is probably just glad as hell that he finally beat him.
Look at people like Flex, Dillet, Ray, Nasser....they chased Yates for a decade and never won shit.

Ok, Jay competed at 274 at 5'9. Im Guessing he will be around 280lbs for the 2007 Olympia, and very confident.
Ronnie will also be around 280lbs for the 2007 Mr O.
IMO, If they are both the same weight, Ronnie will lose and lose big.
Jay's just getting too big for Ronnie. If Jay adds another 5-6lbs of slolid muscle, for get aout it. Jay doesnt stop improving. Ronnie is only getting older and moving further away from his prime. Chad says Ronnie is arthritic too. I dont see Ronnie taking back his crown.

In a just world, yes. In this world, nope. One of them will be billed as the greatest of the decade, and I wouldn't put it past both to retire after that.

why would he be shaking in his shorts? he's competed against ronnie head to head five times so far. the year he was most worried was almost certainly 2004 after ronnie's unbelievable 2003 appearance. after that he's just been waiting for the judges to give it to him.

why would jay be shaking. he just beat ronnie !!! i'm a ronnie fan and would like for him to get the title back. that being said, jay will probably train twice as hard . it hink that ronnie will win in 07'.

I've never gotten the impression that the title was as important to Jay as the money- he's doing it for a living and to support his lifestyle- that's cool. Even if he loses next year, he'll still get to advertise as Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler for life.

the weiders pick whoever they think should get the sandow. this year, they like cutler, they gave it to him. next year they might decide to give it to coleman again. who knows.

They're too stupid in the IFBB to make it a 2 out of 3. Ronnie heals, Ronnie wins because of better structure.
Jay will benefit like Ronnie and Yates before him. It dont matter what he looks like in 07.
