He's a lightweight who doesn't have a clue. Nice yesterday on CNN when the interviewer (don't recall the name) called him out on the fact that he was in New Orleans surrounded by homeless people and yet his 3 million dollar home is being completed in Chapel Hill. Squirrely Edwards just shifted gears and babbled his way out of it.

yeah, edwards is looking like he has a fair chance. He's the white guy running. as much as people say they support obama or hilary, it's the money coming from rich white guys in ties that affects the outcome. And they always choose rich white guys in ties to get the presidential nod.
he's a pawn though. Matthews had him changing his war position in December. Today he got him to stumble all over the place. He's gonna get rattled at the first threat of anything, and the generals are gonna run his presidency.
He isn't looked on too fondly here in NC. He still owes a bunch of money from his last campaign and he did ZERO when he was a Senator. I think he was nothing but a sacrifice the last election. Hillary viewed it as too close of a race and she/dem party decided to wait. The timing could be right for her to make a run, but Obama will kill her on the same ticket. IMO the only way a female wins is with a strong VP candidate.

I disagree. I think he is the Dems best chance at this point. I read or heard that he is leading or tied with Obama in early polling in Iowa?
