all I need right now is a cheap pair of running sneakers since I only do cardio, but I was wondering if anyone brought two pairs one for cardio one for lifting, to thegym

I have a designated pair for the sprint training I do.
Otherwise the ol'shinsplints come-a-calling >:(

Last couple of years I've constantly had bad shins and feet from running, and this was despite wearing the most expensive trainers that the half-wits in JJB recommended!
In the summer I went to a specialist running shop where they measured my feet correctly and watched me run on a treadmill. They then sold me a pair of New Balance for £70, which are the most comfortable running shoes I've ever worn. I can now do long runs, sprints and hill work without even a slight twinge in the old feet.
