haha, and he said gear was the last thing that made a pro a pro.

Oh well.  At one point Tom walked the earth as one of the most conditioned, most muscular men alive.  That was the choice he made and if that made him happy, maybe he isn't regretting the sacrifice that came with what it took to get there.  Personally I would never take those risks, no matter what the gain.

Maybe he just used Sprayflex?  ???  The book was pimping it a lot.

Musclememory is your friend:

Some say he deserved to win the 2001 NOC.  Personally I would have had no qualms with that.

Why the f**k do people have to say..."Musclememory is your friend" on this board? Efen stupid already...... ::)

That's true, but he was a sight to behold that night.

TP is IMO one of the best white dudes ever.

I have it Dorian and then it's a tossup between him and Francois

No need to buy the book all the information on steroids is on the net, when i was jacked i relied on "Big Cat Steroids"look it up on the net it allows you to make well informed decisions when cycling.
There was one dude who told me if your not pissing blood your not taking enough, have not seen him in a long time probaly dead.I would drink up to 6 litres of water to keep my kidneys working well when jacked.
Tom Prince was a beast and i think his problems lie in the use of diuretics not advil like he suggested.

Agreed.  Prince is the typical modern bodybuilder - he thoroughly pushed the envelope (too far) in regards to what could be achieved with today's 'enhancements'.  Unfortunately for him, other than the occasional 'Prince nearly died for you bitches' comment, he goes largely unrecognised.

The first thing I want to eat after a show is...

"Gatorade.  When I am that depleted and that dry after a show, it's almost a high getting that stuff in my system.  I have a bottle ready for the minute the show is over!" - Tom Prince

This kind of jumped out at me when I read it.  You might say it's a common expression, but regular drug users use it a lot more.  I wasn't surprised in the least that Tom would be comparing something (anything) to getting high on drugs, and that's kind of sad.

What percentage of people are either drunk or high at bodybuilding expos or contests?

And of course...

BUY IT HERE (http://www.mesomorphosis.com/go/aw.aspx?A=3&Task=Click&TargetURL=http://www.mesomorphosis.com/store/books/precontest-bible.html)

FYI it's actually a pretty awesome book.  But without any info on diuretics or drug stack tweaking, it's kind of lacking a little, but it's understandable that they wouldn't put that info in there.  It has a lot of good info on diet and training, water consumption, supplements, tanning, oil, flying, and other factors leading up to a show.
On the amatuer level...LOTS of competitors use valium or even xyanax before going out on stage for both pre-judging and night show. Some of them have a a handful of shots of hard liquor to calm their nerves. Some smoke a bowl.

 Absolutely.

The book is okay. Larry Pepe did a good job with it. I can do without the 'SPRAYFLEX' ads but either way it's worth picking up. For sure.

At the end of the day,

say whatever you like,

when the dust settles,

At one point Tom walked the earth as one of the most conditioned, most muscular men alive, end of story.

Especially since Vince Taylor can compete in the IFBB and pose for NABBA, this opens it up for everyone. So, Lee Priest is announcing that he will compete in the IFBB show in Dallas so all his hometown Texas fans can see hime, and he will compete in PDI in the fall.

Lee would also like all the NPC promoters who have contacted him about guest posing for them, to get back in touch with him because now he can appear at your show.

By the way, this is on the advice from his attorney. - Lee Priest

TP had an insane physique for sure...But alot of the things he has stated for just plain false...I read where he said that drugs only made up something like 5 or 10% of the pro physique...Just a silly comment to make..

These guys bust their ass in the gym and i know they get sick of hearing that anyone could be a pro if they took the drugs(which of course is silly in itself) but to say that drugs are barely the reason most of these guys are pros is just dumb...
