Anyway there was a guy asking him for advice and Bob took the time out to speak to him although the guy didnt look to be too serious about his training. Seems like a pretty good bloke from what I saw. So I'm not sure why theres so much hate?

Because by actually interacting with us, he makes himself the easiest target.

I agree, though. He is the best. Shawn and Lee Priest are pretty good about posting and not getting pissy with the bed-wetters.

There is no bad publicity, even on the internet. What does Bob lose? He's probably got about 10k more people who are familiar with him and the product he represents by being here instead of not.

if my favorite bodybuilder is out sick, I wanna know the obvious reason. of course I can guess, but I'd like to rely on a magazine who knows more than I. it wouldn't hurt to see a magazine doing something different than the others. Yes, flex has a lot of good stuff depends on what one is looking for, but alongside entertainment, reality is also part of the equation. I just would like to see a column dedicated to for example" drugs in sports, not just just bodybuilding, the nfl, baseball etc. Some magazines stay away from the drug topic for a reason. I can understand that, but also, it wouldn't hurt to educate those who knows less. Cause I believe, Pharceuticals are part of the formula. That's just my opinions, of course.

I gotta give him credit. Bob seems to have mellowed as of late, and his on-line persona seems to be what most people say he is like in RL, easy-going, etc. I remember the Bob-240 racism thingy and that was very ugly.

I saw Bob when I was in Golds Venice a couple of years ago. I didnt get around to speaking to him as I figured he was there to train.
Anyway there was a guy asking him for advice and Bob took the time out to speak to him although the guy didnt look to be too serious about his training. Seems like a pretty good bloke from what I saw. So I'm not sure why theres so much hate?

thats funny because i was there 2 years ago and the same thing happend. I was visiting the gum and he and gustavo was there as well as cutler. And bon was training shoulders and he stopped to holler at me. take pics and what not. Cool dude for sure....
