hi dan...why not post your announcements under your name instead of andrew1...
will ronnie remember to call in this time?
"Bodybuilding’s most wide reaching media outlet" oh brother.
::)
-
Are we going to have an interpreter this time?
-
I guess the obvious question is...........WHY? Secondly, WHY?
-
Nice guest to start the year! I wonder if Ronnie will come across humble or will he serve up sour grapes toward Jay. I've heard that the defeat has made Ronnie a bit more approachable.

They got Weider finally, I'm sure Manion will be on at some point. Ronnie hasn't really talked about losing since it happened. I'm sure Dan will ask the questions we all have on our minds about Ronnie losing and his official plans for 07.

I hope you ask him why he did not call last time Bob. Come on! You know you want to!

Nice try, genius. I guess you missed the 45 minute interview he did with ProSource after the Olympia where he discussed losing to Jay, his future plans, whether he's injured, his thoughts on the post-Olympia tour, that he will be competing next at the 2007 Olympia. It was all over this board and Mayhem, so I'm not sure how you missed it, given that you live here. But since these are the questions that "we all have on our minds" you don't have to wait and see if Ronnie shows up on Monday since he already answere ALL of them here:

Here what Bob should ask Coleman (but probably won't for he might risk his IFBB standing)
1) Did your embarrasing loss to Jay make you a more humble person
2) Why did you lie about your injury
3) For how long have you been lying about your injury?
4) Did you honestly think you looked "good" at any point during the 2006 olympia (or during the past 5-6 years for that matter)?
5) Why are you a racist towards white people?
6) How many olympias were won by black people?
7) why do you have such difficulty with the english language?

Hahah..priceless , I want to see the answers to these questions

Ronnie is a very difficult person to interview... one moment he says Jay deserved to win, the next he says Jay won because the sport needs a bit of spice.
I thought Ronnie looked sick in prejudging when he first walked out.... dunno what happened after that.
"I thank god I knew" (that he got 2nd)
"Thats the unknown, thats why I glad I new, I know what I'm gonna know what I know, if i don't know, then I dont know what I'm gonna do" WTF!!!! "Well said Ronnie"
"Jays take is just one white mans opinion"
Yeah.
-
Ronnie is living in the clouds... his lat, tricep and quad are all torn.
He is VERY unprofessional the way he conducts himself... was he eating during this interview? sounded like it...
-
I'm listening to the replay right now and is it me or does it sound like Ronnie is eating? It's like his mouth is full and I occasionally hear some tongue clicking.
Hmm, I just heard the comment after they played what Jay had to say about Ronnie's future. Ronnie's response was, "That's just one WHITE man's opinion." I like Ronnie and hoping he'll come back and reclaim the title but I'm tired of this race thing. Blacks represent just 12% of the US population. They disproportionately dominate the sport. Quit crying racism when things don't go your way. Jay didn't cry racism back when he came out of nowhere (2001) and actually looked better than Ronnie that year.
-
cool
Where's the brainbuster finish??

good post. I thought I could here Ronnie eating too.. . I suppose nothing is gonna get in his way for 07?
I can understand Ronnie being defensive, too many people are looking to write him off before HE believes he is ready. Ronnie and Jay have a good rivalry going, and I bet that that has motivated both sides in their quest(s) for the O. ;D

Maybe he was chewing gum...?

Maybe he was chewing gum...?
That's probably more like it. I forgot that he's a gum chewer. Still, it's not too classy when being interviewed on the radio. You can ditch the gum for 30 minutes
I'm a big fan of Ronnie and really want him to win next year. I think he's an exceptionally decent guy in a sport that's somewhat wanting in that area. I really give him credit that he's stuck with MetroPlex after all these years and like his old school training style. Despite his "That's one white man's comment" I think he's true blue all the way. Ronnie's human and when you grow up in a culture where you're inculcated from birth to resent white people and you have whimpy white liberals slobbering over you begging for approval and acceptance as "one of them" you can't help but harbor some of that in a weak moment.
This is the second interview I've heard from Ronnie. The first one was with one of his sponsers Prosource(?) which was pretty much a love fest but this was one where you tried to dig a little deeper. You guys did a great job but it must have been tough. When Ronnie openly contradicts himself and when you pushed further and said, "Well, which one is it, Ronnie?" and he just says, "Both." I mean, where do you go from there. I guess at some point you just have to nod and say "O-kaaay" and let the audience decide. I think the audience got it. Ronnie just seemed kind of oblivious to it all.
Still, I'd like to see him win. He'll do something no ones ever done before or will ever do again. I don't count Arnold's 1980 gift.
But that's just one white man's opinion.
-
Maybe he was chewing gum...?
Like that is better Bob?
He sounded like an ass the guy is delusional now...

Youre right! Isn't that a bit rude?
It also gives the impression that he
must have 5 minutes to reply to simple Q's.
-
his whole life is 30 mins to reply to some questions, the same questions over and over. like he said, you cant judge him if your not in his position, you notice ronnie coleman, he cant shrink down to normal size and not get noticed. i wouldnt be able to put up with the constant questioning and people looking for handouts and pats on the ass.

and all that practice didn't help his ass a bit ::)
