good points they got,, it a hard issue to figure out
on one hand there's bigger and bigger drug busts everyday,,, where does that lead- just to another even bigger drug bust,,, people wanna get high and you cant stop them
on the other hand, what if you legalize drugs,, people will be fuked up all day long. this country would shut down.. drugs are highly addictive,, once you get hooked you can kiss your life goodbye.. legal or not, drugs are expensive.. first you'll run out of money- possibly loose your job because you can function, then you start selling your belongings and property, then you start to steal... why legalize and endless cycle of torture?

Yeah, thats kind of how I feel. I don't know what the right answer is.

Drugs are already accessible, people still function (or don't) with taking illegal and legal drugs daily. Elimnating the illegality of the drugs eliminates the crime.

Drugs are not entirely accessible. Yes, everyone can get something. But the laws do deter millions from using.

How has consumption been reduced by longer sentences and more busts? What laws are detering millions from doing drugs?

no it wont,, if they become legall guess whos making the profit-the government..so the prices will be jacked up..
drugs are extremely addictive,, legal or not they cost at ton of money,, drug addicts cant get enough so it consumes their lives. when you run out of money, you turn to crime,,, weed's a different story,, but do you know of a heroin addict? theres a reason why the majority of homeless people are drug addicts. when you watch those cop shows and you see the stupid shit criminals do-like run from the police, or rob a store with a cop waiting in line.... its cuz their high..drugs cause people to do stupid shit
my problem with the drug laws is we shouldn't be locking these people up,, we need to get them off the drugs, off the streets, and send them somewhere where they learn how to live a good clean life.

Its a laugh to think people don't do drugs becaue of the law. How many people didn't have their first beer cause they were underage? People do drugs cause they want to and don't do do them because of fear of addiction, lack of money, care for their health or just don't care to get high.
When people think every street is going to be filled with drug crazed driving lunatics if we legalize drugs, they don't think to highly of their fellow man or themselves.

i liked the pen and teller exposee on PETA, but this one was a piece of shit
they forgot to mention that the lions share of drugs in amreeka are flown in by the CIA...

It depends whether you think using is bad, and this can vary with the drug. Marijuana is pretty harmless, while heroin can destroy your life.
