i'll start, there is this guy 37 years old, decent sized but nothing big who claims to do DC training so the other day we're starting our chest workout at around the same time and he's about ready to start his main work set with the rest pause on the flat barbell bench with a massive 235, he asks me if i can spot him and i say OK, so he sits on the bench and takes a good 3 minutes slapping himself in the head and muttering crazy shit to himself before getting an amazing 7 reps on the first go round, then racks it, takes it out again and gets a huge 3 reps, racks it, takes it out for the last time and gets 2 reps and putrs it back, then he moves on to barbell inclines with 185 which you aren't supposed to do, you're only supposed to do the one basic movement for chest and then do the "extreme stretching", hahahaha, what a clown.

Saw a skinny little 110 lb Asian guy doing a little bit of dancing and starjumping in the middle of all the equipment ::) after which he did something I've never seen before in my life - he gets on the assisted chin-up machine after choosing a weight and rather than use that to do pull ups, braced his arms against the handles at the top and using his feet, pushed the foot rests up and down for about 8 - 10 reps! Yep, the f*cking retard did vertical, leg presses on the chin up machine. After a couple of sets of these, he did some shadow boxing ::) for a few minutes before moving onto the cardio room ::) ::)

I just had all these 120 lb warriors and some other fat f*cks approach me at work with a very serious expression on their faces saying, "Look Bro, I'm not going to waste any time this year - I'm dead serious about the gym. I need you to tell me what I need to eat and whether I need to cycle Creatine or load it etc etc" ::) Hahahahahaha you should see the look on their faces when rather than give them a serious reply, I always tell the skinny ones, "What for mate? hahaha good grief the lengths people go to, if the swiss ball gets put into the free weight area at my gym it normally gets booted out of there within a minute, one guy genuinely kicks it as if its his worst enemy funny as fuck

Yup, its holidays and summer time here, so all these "get fit for summer" pricks are everywhere.. getting in the way doing their half reps and chest and arms workout every 2nd day.
There's two oldish dudes, one wears rigger gloves that do drop sets on the incline bench, the do 10 reps 1/8th range of motion, then drop down to 60kg and do quarter reps.
Im recovering from surgery, so Im taking it easy in the gym, and watching what people do and if I had a dollar for everytime I thought "What the f**k is he/she doing" I'd have a healthy wallet

he might have gotten a better work with more reps if he used the Smith Machine.

the crux of the DC program is that you do that one rest pause set at that workout then add in a staic hold at the top of the last rep and then take a set of db's and hold them out at the end of a db flye for 45 seconds or so and then move on to shoulders, triceps and then back, then you pick a different compound movement for chest when you train it a few days later and do the exercise the same way.
