this phone/pda is gunna be a big loser IMO.... without an actual keypad its going to be very tough to use for everyday allday "phone" activities, like dialling and texting... plus what goot is browsing the internet without a keyboard, AND NO STYLUS come on steve

I was going to get the blackberry pearl. Now I want to look into this apple phone.

I love Apple products, but this is not the phone for me. It’s too big for my needs. One of the things I love about my clamshell cell phone is that I can slip it into my back pocket and basically sit on it (in the car or on a sofa) without damaging it. iPhone is too big for that. The iPhone is also too expensive.
I like the idea of syncing my Mac phonebook/contacts with my phone but I’m on TMobile—not Cingular—and this phone is not worth breaking my contract for. Maybe in two years when my contract is up there will be a cheaper iPhone that meets my needs, but for now, I’ll pass.

I saw a demo of the iPhone yesterday at Macworld and the touch-screen technology is amazing! I’ll still pass on this first generation product but by the time my current contract ends, I’ll jump to iPhone!

Unless your company is paying for it or you can write it off, I'd wait. The next edition of this product will be better and even more refined! Remember, that first generation ipod was actually pretty lame compared to the second and third generation models that followed. Still, after seeing that product demo in person, I was impressed! :D

I have a 60 GB ipod, so I did wait until they busted out with the video one. Guess I can wait till they improve this one too, maybe they'll have a iphone nano. ;D
