Before eating of course.
Shed fat throught the only energies serves you have left aka fat!
Get with the program!
-
Tap into fat and glycogen stores as opposed to your food/carb stores.
-
nothing, it's a myth. In a caloric deficit you burn everything you eat, doesn't matter.
-
Couldn't your risk dipping into muscle for energy as well?

I guess but I would think you would burn fat first but at a certain point, yes you will burn muscle because the body needs fat to survive.

Exactly. Which is why you should just fuck yo girl in the morning and say to hell with the treadmill.

Unless you are one of these guys that eat strict 24\7 and count calories you probably need to do some cardio to be in a caloric defecit or at least break even...
you could probably do the cardio at any time of the day, but rest assured that you will burn both muscle and fat
Alot of guys feel that if you take BCAA/Glutamine/ECA and do 30+ min of cardio on an empty stomach you will burn more fat than muscle.
nothing is absolute except vodka

I give up. ???
Disgusted, I would love to hear your thoughts on this subject

actually carbs are a primer for fat metabolism...
i'd drink 1/2 a cup of OJ and then go..

You are burning fat mostly, if you do low intensity cardio for an hour on a treadmill. If you burn 200 calories from carbs and then consume 200 calories from carbs, you are right back where you started. Its a lot harder to get 200 calories from fat than it is for carbs, if you are on a good diet.

The benefit is that when you're blood sugar is low, your GH levels are typically high, which preserves muscle. Doing cardio first thing in the morning will burn more fat than muscle.

after i switched my cardio to morning, pre meal of course, i look much leaner and the waist had went down 2 inches. im not trying to be a mass monster so the results i got are great with me. i say do cardio in the Am before you eat. i do take a BCAA and glutamine with a sip of juice (not steroids ;D, but actually apple juice) before this workout. seems to work for me.

how long or far are you guys running? And at what type of pace, just a decent jog?
-
Not doing it later. ;D

I do 55 minutes at a fast walk pace in the morning when i can, and after working out when im cutting.

i always switch it up. i believe that whenever you do repetitive stuff for workouts, your body will eventually adapt and then you will just be wasting time. after years and years of being fat, the thing that worked best for me, was shit like an hour in the morning, pre meal, of cardio. one day i would do eliptical machine, the next fast walking, the next fast walk on high incline, the next bike, the next modmerate pace with high incline, the next no incline but 60/90, where you run for 60 seconds and then walk for 90 seconds. when i started doing that, and eating right (thats the most important part) i lst over 50 lbs. find out what works for you, never quit just because you are tired and never give up and you will be good.
also, i always shoot for at least 3 miles of whatever i am doing. and i never try to go under 3.5 mph for pace.

whats the benefit? it makes you lean as fuck!!
