Guys im having sum real sleep problems at the moment, last night i crashed at 11.30, was asleep by probs 1am (1 prob is length of time its taking for me to fall asleep), woke again at 5.30, probs back to sleep about 6.30, then awake again at 8. Its happeneing like this for the last week or so. really annoying. & i need more sleep than im getting.
I had considerd fact that it could possibly b an overtraining sign, but iv recently switched to more of a HIT style routine, so my volumes down.+im making strength gains week to week on this routine, so my progress is high, so i dont get it.

If its a recent development, then I'd go back to when the sleep problems started and determine what changed. Could be workout, could be other life stressors.
My $0.02.

It could be stress...Work, relationship related...Any of those currently prevailling in your life?

the total hours of sleep isnt so bad, unless you're one of these guys that need 10 hours a night. but 1,5 hour before you actually get to sleep is the problem i guess. there's many things you can do. google it. might have something to do with eating to close to bed or maybe you could do some kinda exercise to be more tired. or maybe you dwell about problems. or you could fix your bedroom, make it darker etc. or use some kinda music or count sheep or whatever :)
