Title: Bodybuilding video reviews anyone?
Post by: pacman13 on January 11, 2007, 07:18:52 PM
Just wondering if any of you have seen any of the new videos that have came out lately, such as Mel Anthony's, Gunter's, and so on.  If so, give a review of what you think are the best.  I would like to buy a couple of new vids but I am sick and tired of spending $40 on shit videos.  Dugdale's is probably the best I have seen in awhile but that is over a year old now.  thanks for your help

Which DVDs should I order in for review?  ???

I am thinking of Craig Titus' DVD, the 2006 Mr. Olympia, and Bob's War of the Worlds, to name a few.

Hey Matt,serious q.

Have you ever (during one of your reviews) felt awkward about what you're watching?

I mean, did you ever think to yourself, "why the fuck do I do this?" as some pro bber broke into his "stripping/posing" routine?

Sounds like Matt C set up a gimmick account to pimp his website...oh wait a minute.  ;D

Check out my reviews here:

My review of Gunter's DVD:

Gunter's DVD was very good!  He was in his best condition in the video during his delts/triceps workout.

Excellent choice!!  I'll order it in today.  ;D  His training seemed pretty low intensity and with poor form though.  :-\

yes i have seen clips of his movies (on his homepage) looks like very poor form lol...also i have seen his first movie...

there are 5 movies of him i believe...nasser on the way 1-5

nasser was better than dorian in 97 (his back was big but not so detailed..should have won still)

do you get the movies for free.?

matt c: do you have scans of nasser articles?

I've never really looked or even thought much about the seedy side of the bodybuilding industry because I personally have no interest in it myself.  I like to read about bodybuilding insofar as it helps me to achieve my goals, and review the DVDs because I have an interest in the competitive side of the sport industry.  I never really thought much about how a lot of these DVDs are basically a form of pornography, or at least used for the same purpose.  :-\

I also don't even know how long the internet will be prosperous for, so this year I plan to branch out and see about other investments and things like that.

good answer. that's just it. a hetero doesnt look at them for this reason, where as gordiano sees things others don't, and see it differently.
in fact reading this thread is the same thing - most of us wants to get tips of training videos where as gordiano (who have no interest in training) just think this is another chance for him to talk about homosexuality.

different strokes for different folks.
