Seems like every guy in my gym (not that many - small town - small gym) who uses talks loud, esp. when on. Is this normal :P do AAS effect your hearing ::)

It shoots testosterone levels through the roof, which in turn promotes aggressive behavior. Loud talking can easily be associated with the drive and agressiveness that these guys (tools) are exhibiting. Usually, if guys are really toolbags and put on a few pounds of water from the steroids they are misusing, they will tend to be all loud in the gym because they feel big and stuff. It's the quiet guy in the corner with an IPOD on thats ripped out of the frame and pounding out heavy sets that is really getting the attention from the girls.
Say something sarcastic to them like: speak up a little guys, so the people across the street can hear you better.

I don't know. I've got partial hearing loss in my left ear so sometimes you gotta talk loud to me.

maybe the music is loud? ;)

No...it simply effects the "retarded" level of some guys. Some guys, when they are on cycle, feel it important to make a scene, as well as tell everyone "hey, I'm juicin." Otherwise, no one would know.

Turns us back to our "roots" making us more barbaric and caveman-ish!!!! I personally never did that shit, but I know plenty of bros who made the transition

LOL this is right on! I hate lots of talking or people clowning around in the gym.
