Title: Another question for Shawn Ray
Post by: Wiggs on January 14, 2007, 07:32:33 AM
Shawn I'm assuming you were "on" anytime you trained during your career (correct me if I'm wrong).  How was training and getting in shape naturally vs. the other?

Training is training, Natural or not, you know this kid?
That's like saying a how's your car drive on Regular compared to Supreme.
Sure there's a bit of a kick difference but the movements, exercises the poundage it all feels the same. :-\
Peace,
S

Agreed with everything , except one thing - poundage does not feel the same...

My Body Weight only fluctuated 15 to 20lbs off season, the poundages I lifted were basicallythe same.
Hence, it always felt heavy to me.

Most of the pros don't take more than 4-6 weeks off thats why poundage feels the same.I don't know if u are still training but ask Levrone if poundage feels the same now compared to when he was on!

I'm certain different guys have different response to the question but since it was directed toward me, I thought I might answer it.
You ask Kevin, I never wondered how things were with my competitors. :-\
