I'd have money problems too if I spend 50% of my marketing budget just to publish 15 year old photos of a retired bodybuilder.

I have a bet with someone that the Colorado show is on the fence. Of course we won't hear any of this from you know who, but I to heard the Vyotech rumors.  Plus can they (or do they) really want to take a chance and lose another $100,000.  SO far none of the experts say yes.  So we will see.  Like always I wish Sean allot of luck with the show.  I also wished the promoter of the Toronto Pro, Atlanta Pro, Fresno Pro and the Masters luck too, oh and the promoters in Europe.  SO it might not be a good thing I wish him luck.

Well the $30,000+ down the drain for the Hummer was the first big mistake.  But, I know Sean will learn and he is a great promoter and picked the perfect place in the US to put on a pro BB show. ???

And the award for the DUMBEST company in bodybuilding goes to....

Drumroll please....

VYOTECH

Hire a has-been prick who hasn't competed in 5 years to endorse products that he never used when he looked good because they didn't exist;

Let Phil Heath get away;

Fire a guy who just placed 5th at the MR. OLYMPIA and re-sign a guy who couldn't break the top 15 at the Mr. Olympia;

Spend hundreds of thousands in print ads that are loaded with text and some of the worst photos in any ads on the market.

Yea..they are in trouble all right. They used to had drivers for the athletes when they arrived at a airport now the athletes struggle to get reimbursed for the cab fare.

I remember when Vyotech first came out on the scene. They had booths all over the place. They even 3 booths at the Olympia last year..WTF?? Hey! For a company owner to believe that spending money to bring an arrogant retired bodybuilder and his wife and kid and to sit on leather couches is cost effective..someone is really pulling the wool over poor Vince's eyes.

FYI- I also heard they spend something like $65K on thier Xmas party.

I stopped reading Jeff Everson's Planet Muscle about 4 years or so ago when he openly endorsed Vyotech, in one of his Q & A's, it did not set well with me. I'm surprised they are having $$$ troubles I thought they said they recieved a 10 million dollar Australian government grant to research their product ???  ::)

Vyotech more than likely operates in the red.  Hard to see anything but.  But, they are owned by another major company.  I can't remember the name off hand though.  But regardless of how they stand financially, you can't put a guy in charge of spending your money like Sean.  I mean how many times did he have to fly to Denver for meetings and other stuff.  How many times did he come on here and say he is in Denver or just got back.  Who do you think paid for those trips.  Oe thing he can do is talk.  He is great at it.  And he obvisouly is great cause he talked the Vyotech guys into buying a new Hummer and giving it away for free at a free show.  I constantly said why not give it away at the BB show.  The people who actually by tickets get a chance to win it.  It would have sold more tickets easily to the BB show.  But instead he gave it away for free at the Expo which he didn't charge for.  It was free.  He even let people enter to win who didn't even have to go to the show.  Monster waste of $30,000+.  Renting out a convention center is NOT cheap.  I did it, I know.  There are no deals to be made.  his fast talking didn't get him any discount.

I just have a feeling that the Colorado Pro is going to end up with the Toronto Pro and Masters show.  I hope not.  I wish Sean all the best.  He is a great guy ::)

Has everyone noticed how Blanko, kiwihole and Shashant ruin every thread by starting shit.  It's always the little internet trolls and punks that do this.  It's because they know nothing about this industry and they are just kids who use their moms computers.  Except for Shashant he has to go to another town.

Not allowed in your gym? bwhahaha Let's not live in the past.
The only way I would "not be allowed" in your gym is if there is a minimum 30% bodyfat requirement.  ;)

I knew that giving Bill Wilmore 15 tubs of goat whey protein would stretch their budget

Wilmore will need more than 15 tubs of goat whey.

The parent company that "owns" VyoTech I think is called Spectrum. Aren't they also doing some major anti-aging lotion?

Hydroderm is the product this company makes that seems to keep them afloat.

Agree about the trolls.
In many forums you can press the ignore button, which is located under each user name.
They should have such a function here.

Its quite annoying, having to read internet trolls posts .

Look into that suspicious Australian grant...  I think you'll see where this is going.
