Yeah at all my jobs, I was always the only one who even went to the gym. I'm so glad I got out of the 9-5, my GAWD if I hear one more stupid comment about how much I eat from some fat ass who doesn't even know what a carbohydrate is, or the difference between regular and diet soda, i'm gonna lose it! FUnny thing is, my ways never really rubbed off on anyone. I haven't been able to explain this, I was always really big and lean, and people could see my body change pretty rapidly, so it was obv I knew what I was doing, yet not one single person from all the places I've worked at has started eating 6 small meals a day, or gotten a gym membership. AMazing.

LOL.  Seems working from home would get boring.  It seems to me it would be too much time spent in the house.  But then you would not have to deal with all the workplace douche bags.  :-\

I am the only person in my office who pushes weight   ???

I was asked to write a few pointers on dieting and cardio in a email newsletter last week, and I just explained how to actually lose fat etc

All the women just skimmed over it and were like "oh, thats interesting" as they started their 'atkins' lunch hoping to drop 5 sizes by eating some eggs  ::)

(I'm so glad I go to a gym  ;D)

there is no magic about eating 6 small meals per day...you can eat 3 meals per day and have the same results if you eat the same number of calories...(some people may feel blood sugar drops...etc...but when body gets used to 3 meals per day most people will have no probs with it)

Yeah, that's true.  The kid does have a smaller waistline than I do.

It's got its good and its bad points.  I play with baby all day, then work at night.  Pretty busy, but fun.  I take him for walks, go shopping, etc to have some variety in the day.

eh, I have worked to avoid that thus far.   I refer clients to one of my web design friends who is very experienced in that area.  I have no prob with people who go that route, but I don't want the stigma that would follow me from it.  I'm a clean cut, mainsteam guy for the most part.

How much would you charge to make www.Debusseyslounge.com ? It will not contain porn like we know it.

well there is science backing up what im saying..but seems like people havent noticed it yet??

also i experimented with 3,4,5,6 meals and even one meal per day with same amount of calories.. there was no fucking difference..only thing is that eating once per day you have to stuff yourself so full in one sitting its not funny....but fuck the metabolism argument..it doesn make any difference....it should be all about convenience..

to use common sense eating 4-5 times would be best for most people to keep blood sugar on ok level...

also gives you time to do other things than to cook and eat.....im not saying eat once a day but you dont have to eat every 3 hours that is total bs

Back in the day there was a user on this site who worked with Garrett Downing.  Said Downing was always complaining about not getting his meals on time at work and some other stuff.  Saw video where Coleman was eating chicken in his squad car.

hahahaha yes, brutal honesty SB!

If i'm hungry I will eat a meal, (whether that be chicken and rice, a few glasses of milk, some oats some steak some pasta some burgers etc etc etc) if anyone cant eat 3800-4000 kcals a day (depending on why your dieting) then they are a pussy who probably eats mcsalads! :D

In my office and the one next to me, there are thousands of employees. I would say about 15% of them do something to stay in shape, like running, walking, or mild workouts, but only one other guy has any size to him. So 2 guys in a couple thousand have good size and are hardcore about lifting.

Two things

1. When the full body guys come in the gym we walk around going  "Full body, Full body"
2. Usually the guys with the jugs go to the gym right after new years do a full body workout and don't go back because they don't want to be sore the next day.
