Question - i heard alot about restoring sugar level and spiking insulin post workout.
whats the best way to do it if i dont have dextrose supp ! i mean something i can buy at the grocery after the workout ...
banana ? grape juice ? pure sugAR ?

Honey works well.

no fructose and sucrose are not the ideal pwo sugars.
just pick up some dextrose...many stores have it.
a 50/50 mix of dextose n maltodextrin or waixy maize would be the best way to go.

Powdered gatorade has dextrose in it.
Smarties (candy) have dextrose in them.
Glucose tablets can be picked up at a drugstore.

Look in the yellow pages for a home brewing store. You can pick up dextrose and maltodextrin there. I recommend using both in combination.
