Citing "The rules have changed" in the middle east, Jordan is now telling the world they want a nuke program.
What's weird is, we're cool with them. And they're essentially the same situation as Iran - signed the non-proliferation agreement and suddenly wanna break it.
Are they nervous we're gonna be on their door with the gift of democracy in 9 or 12 years?

As long as Jordan plays it cool with the US, then we wont do shit to them. Just look at the saudis, our buddies who start pumping every time gas goes up too high.

Maybe 'King' Abdullah should give Jordan back to the Palestinians. Palestinian problem solved 8)

No Islamic country should be allowed to have nukes, period. As long as they maintain a worldview that comes straight out of the middle ages, allowing them to have weapons like that is just asking for a future nuclear holocaust.

yeah, our policy is very clearly "we will attack any nation which gets nukes which could threaten our interests in the region...
Any nation could be a threat. If we're going to cook Iran for the shit, let's cook anyone who tries it. Cause selective enforcement will cause people to doubt our integrity. Already, the selective enforcement of Iraq/Iran, before the greater threat in NK, has been to our detriment. If we start picking and choosing which potential nuclear powers in the mid east we'll be attacking, it'll get even worse.

I agree... we shouldn't pick and choose... we shouldn't allow ANY muslim country to have nukes unless they join the 21st century and develop a secular outlook. Right now, NO Muslim country fits that bill. Turkey is closest, but has a ways to go.
As far a Paki goes, the country is run by a pro-western US puppet, and they aren't mass-producing and stockpiling, just keeping a few to counterbalance India. If either of those things change, look for us to invade them as well.
