squats are pretty good, though. gets 315 for six and goes fairly deep.

He should've started in his home basement on a cheap old York set with a do it all bench like the majority of us did when we were young. That way he could at least get some experience and a basic feel for the iron game and be able to at least bench a plate and a quarter aside without looking ridiculous and taking up too much space in the gym.
