My girlfriend complains that whey makes my breath smell after I take it. Even if I clean my teeth and mouthwash like a bastard the smell is there. Have tried different brands and is always the same. Different proteins on the other hand, eg casein and soy, dont have this effect. Anyone else have this problem?

Do u floss? Especially the back teeth...... green tea , kiwifruit , those are 2 things ive learnt that help rid bad breath , i think lemon does too.
Do u brush your toungue also? Your not starving yourself are ya?
Also are u eating garlic or really foul dieting pills etc

I stopped taking whey about a year ago. nothing changed.

Don't totally switch to casein, your body also needs the whey! Whey is much easier for the body to digest. Casein should be taken at night

Yeah, on his website, Gunter says protein powders aren't necessary, not even for him. They're simply a matter of convenience.

I have protein powder for convenience. Cant find casein really, much more expensive than whey, even on bulkpowders.co.uk
I tend to have a lot of low fat yoghurt and cottage cheese etc at the moment though. I'm trying to get cut at the moment and find its great to fill you up on a low carb diet.

yogurt on a low car diet? Isn't it almost entirely carbs, except for some protein?

I hope not, I seem to remember the labels and it looked good. Even if it is, its working for me though! Have lost 6 pounds in three weeks, ;D

Do you not read labels? What do you mean "I hope not". It's pretty simple to find out how many carbs, protein & fats there are in just about everything you buy these days. Regardless of if its working, you should know what you're putting in your body!

I'm was at work, the food was at home.
2gr of carbs per 100g, not too bad. Virtually no fat either, about 8g of protein. I assume most of it is water
