Guaranteed money, or the money and glory of the NFL? Hall of fame football player, or hall of fame baseball player? More security, money, health benefits in baseball. More glory in football. Both would make you rich and famous.
If you where good enough of an athlete to choose, ( none of you pukes are ;)) which sport would you pick?

NFL for sure.

I would rather wath NFL, but I would rather play MLB. Too many NFL players with bad knees.
-
easy one nfl for sure have you seen how those baseball players look after a life in baseball
-
Baseball makes a lot more sense financially, both because the league's far more skewed towards players' advantage re: contracts and career longevity.

me too.
after your baseball career ends you won't have to replace every joint in your body

If glory is important to you as an athlete, then NFL, hands-down.
Baseball's time has passed and may never return in this country. If you observe the sports media today, the only ones who ever reference "Cooperstown" are old dudes.

Football is great, winning the Superbowl is great but there is no way it would compare to winning a World Series as a Yankee, or a Red Sock. You take the greatest baseball players of alltime. A Dimaggio, a Wlliams, a Ruth a Clemens. There are NO football greats who even in that stratosphere. Not a Montana, an Elway, a Unitas. Football players just don't become icons the way baseball players do.

Is that why baseball is the highest revenue producing sport in this country? Or sells by far the most apparel? Or players get paid the most for public appearences? Or players or ex players get paid by far the most to attend card shows? Or players with the highest paying contracts? Or the sport that is talked about year round? Or gets the most calls to sports radio shows? Or the sport that produces the biggest sports heroes in the USA?
